Whaddya mean, Multi-Styled?
Multi-Styled, or some people who've perfected themselves call it Multi-Talented Art. I can work on just about any medium, though I can't do certain styles due to lack of materials, like painting and sculpting. Believe me, if I had the chance to get the materials, I'd go for it and not think twice.


Where's some examples?
In post three. There's a big number "3" with a period and the word "samples" following it.

What's acceptable(†) and what's not?(-)
†Anything! As long as it isn't hentai, porn, yaoi, yuri, or kissing. (I haven't tried it, but if you don't mind a crappy commission, be my guest) [I've tried it once and .... I wouldn't recommend it just yet... Unless you really don't care.]
-Nothing against Gaia's ToS for art commissions.
-Expecting super exquisite art. I have no skills that I am hiding, and what you see in my samples and on my deviantart page is as good as I can get at the moment. Maybe if you come back in fifty years I'll be at the quarter level of artistic talent as my friend/deviant kariavalon, but until then, please do not expect more than what you see.
† As of 4/17/08, I now help with websites!!!! 8D Thus, I will be reopening my shop and getting more active. (Because I've been a lazy a** lolwut.) If you want more information on this, please PM me with the title "so I herd u did websites/html" (Okay, not really, but please having something online the lines of "website help/assistance/etc" wink . -However, I do NOT do profiles. The coding/script for these is different than what I'm familiar with. (Then again, I've never tried to edit mine, so what do I know?)

1/02/10 Two days before Winter Intersession
I don't get many requests by people just bumping this thread, so I think I'll have no problem keeping it open during the next session, I hope. I'm hoping I'll get good enough that I can eventually get real $$$ commissions, but I don't think that'll happen a lot outside any plushie making and writing.
9/14/09 Stress
I'm sorry, I can't take on any other offers right now/won't be able to get to them for quite awhile. I have two/three pics that I do plan on doing, BUT it might not be for awhile. School has suddenly turned quite stressful, and I feel like a pendulum has just decided to start swooping down, threatening to kill me if I'm not careful. I'm sorry, but any new requests I receive I may not be able to get to for several months. If you don't mind the wait, go ahead and post, but there's no guarantee that I will accept.

4. ABOUT ME.

Hmm... What can I say about myself? I don't really like talking about myself, though I have the tendency to want the spotlight quite a bit. I also warn you--- I'm an English major, so I tend to ramble for long periods of time.
Let's start with the basics:
Hajimemashite. My name's Sarah, but you can call me Melody Hikari, and only that. I am eighteen years of age. If you want to buy me a birthday present, you'll have to wait until November 30th. I'm not even going to question why you would want to.
My main sites are GaiaOnline and DeviantArt. I love these places, even if they're changing and becoming less like the websites that I used to know. My DeviantArt account is Melody-Hikari, so feel free to stalk watch me. On Gaia, I like to prowl a hangout for an RP group that I was a part of and have found again, Austin's DTTPAY, my RP Bar [even if it's almost always empty], and chat threads for the groups that I hang out with. I am was a moderator for Austin's DTTPAY, so feel free to ask me any questions you have about it. I can't really tell someone to give you a donation that you didn't receive anymore, though.
I am currently [technically] a Sophomore at Mt. San Antonio College, a community college. I love it here even more than I love my high school, and I LOVED my high school. o_o; My high school taught me a lot about various computer software programs, so I'm not afraid to step up to the plate [and strike out] when it comes to figuring out what's wrong with some programs. It also helped me figure out a bit of who I am and who I'm not, and the small but loving community of teachers and students is something that I will never forget. My college... I never dreamed I would enjoy so much, but I finally found my niche, the Anime Club, and have fitted right in since the Fall started, even though I had been going since Summer of 2008. Mt. SAC's Bridge Program was extremely helpful in easing my anxiety about college, so that when Fall rolled around, I was completely comfortable taking classes outside their program. I highly recommend to any future, prospective, or current college students to look into a program at their university regarding new students and easing the transition from jail to freedom. lol I am a Creative Writing major, and can't wait to transfer to a school that has it as a degree option. UCR was my hope, but with the current budget cuts that my state is facing, I'm better off looking for a private university that has a major that I feel comfortable studying in. For the Fall '09 and Spring '10 semesters, I'm Anime Club's secretary. =D Nihongo o benkyooshimasu.
I can't go a day without listening to music, in some way, shape, or form. It helps keep me calm and tearing off heads of every single idiot I come across in my daily life. Rock, Metal, and some J-pop/rock can be found on my iPod. I love watching anime, and it's what has gotten me into studying the Japanese culture and choosing Japanese as a language to study for transfer over Spanish. [Spanish would be a strong choice to make, too, where I live.]
My career goal is incomplete, but I do know that I want to become a librarian as my job. If that sounds the same to you, you obviously did not go to a level of education yet in which they clearly define the difference between a "career" and a "job". My choices for a career are all paycheck-to-paycheck occupations, and I would like to have a daily one instead. Because of this job choice, you surely got the idea that I love books and people, right? Only one of those is true, and I'm sure you can figure it out if you're still reading and remember what I said my major was.
I miss going to my library. I think, that if I don't take classes this summer [read: in one week], that I'm going to volunteer again as a reader this summer. I missed out last summer because of Bridge's summer program, so that means no 6-peat volunteering. </3 But I will be a fifth-year volunteer. I also have enough seniority that I can sit at the tech desk in the children's department! xd It's awesome! [Okay, so as of the Thursday before Fall semester, I have not gone back to the library. </3]
I haven't drawn since my Junior year of High School-- nothing really serious and full of heart. I can't wait to receive some art requests so that I can start drawing again. I've wrote a bit, but I haven't taken pictures or drawn anything in so long..... I hope I haven't become rusty. LOL. I've drawn some pictures recently. A commission and some art that can be seen on my DeviantArt account, listed at the bottom of the samples post.
Video games have been my alternate to music for a long, long time, before I even realized an addiction to music that I have been neglecting lately, too. My preferences are RPGs, Simulations, and fun Multiplayers. I've grown up on Nintendo systems, so I have a bias to them that has been wearing thin in recent years. Nintendo is starting to appear to be anti-customer satisfaction lately and pro-money-milking. </3 I haven't own my PS2 for more than a few months, but I'm not completely lost on my buttons anymore.
This is a really long About Me, and I'm sure it's one of the longest you'll ever read. If it's not, please let me know. heart I can drone on and on because of the estrogen in me. ;]

Digital ------------ 6000-10,000 All past digital art is done mostly via laser mouse, but there was a site-wide debate on mouse v. tablet v. fingerpad a few years back on DevArt, so I'm not gonna say much.
Other ------------- Max 20,000. Depends on what it is....
