Hi, thank you very much for accepting my offer of a bribe! Sorry to ask stupid questions/seem pushy, but I'm really new to this whole 'commissioning avatar art' thing and just want to make sure I don't do anything wrong in dealing with you. Heh, I don't even know if I should post this in the thread at all or limit it to PMs. sweatdrop

Um, what do I have to do now? I read in the stickies at the top of the Art Shops forum that common practice as regards art shops is to start but not complete a trade with you to prove that I have the wherewithal to pay for the commission (and it's sitting here staring at me right now) and then await further instructions as regards any progress. So, um, would you want me to do that so you know the item's there, it is what I said it was, and I don't intend to weasel out of payment? Or do you have a different system as regards payment? I really don't want to do this wrong, and by basically doing nothing now I know I've had my bribe accepted I'm worried I might be. As I said, uber-n00b at this.

So, is there anything I should do now, or would you rather I just sat tight for a bit?

I trust that you have the Fallen Wish but if you want to send me a trade, that's fine. I can accept it, and when I've finished the commission, I'll send it to you/send a preview and then you can accept and all will be good. : D

Honestly I don't mind if you don't send the trade until after I've given you the art but go ahead if you want. ^^

After that you can just wait until I've finished it. :B

(oh and I don't mind anyone posting in the the thread, I love chatting to people and it bumps it up anyway so~ x3 Anybody is welcome to just use the thread as a place to hang out and chat)

I think I will start the trade now - just because I have the thing lurking in my invo and I don't want to look like I intend to try and back out on payment or anything. I'd just rather you didn't have to take my word on trust, as it were. Will label the trade that it's for this commission, if that sounds sensible.

As for waiting, I can and will be patient. 3nodding Don't want to hassle you or anything as I know you mentioned being overloaded. With about eight Gaia commissions on top of everything RL throws at you I can totally understand that you're rather snowed under. But artwork like yours is well worth the wait, and (not being at all arty myself) I cannot even imagine how long it would take to complete a piece like the examples you showed. Honestly, I'm just glad you could give me a slot.

Yeah, as I mentioned my classes have started again but when I get to my TAFE campus I hopefully will be able to work on commissions in my multimedia class there. :B So that should speed things up.
