THE CHARACTERS (more may be added later)
These characters belong to Jinxeh - I have spent many years working upon them! STEAL AT YOUR PERIL!
LANCE:
Imperial Army officer
Personality and Background: He hails from a desert country, an empire set in a land rather like the middle east. He is a young officer in the Imperial army, stationed in a border outpost, with a swift competence to his manner and a proud nobility to him. His men are loyal to him, and he feels a certain responsibility to them. But at the same time, he is a tad cynical about things, and resigned about the corrupt state of affairs. Also he can run roughshod over others in order to get things done.... and his utilitarian outlook leads to some... interesting moral dilemmas.
Physical Description: He would be about 24 years of age. Tall and of medium build. Classical features, I initially was leaning towards Arabic but now I am not so sure. So either vaguely Arabic or something less so. There is some youth to his features and yet he has an air of confidence, of military command. His features are yet slightly weathered from years in the desert sun. There is a pragmatic confidence/competence about him. There is also an 8-pointed silver star tattooed in the centre of his forehead (This star has longer points at the cardinal points, ie. N,S,E,W, and shorter points at the NE,SE,SW,NW points). Colours included to give an overview only, given this is b&w (black hair, intense dark sapphire blue eyes, mid-shade brown skin)
Hairstyle: I am actually of two minds here. It would be either: a) See Reference pic of Eric Bana as Hector in Troy or else
b) Again see pic for hair length but otherwise cleanshaven.
Clothing: Imperial uniform.... which is a mixture between ancient Roman army regalia and more middle eastern attire. The culture is definitely middle eastern. But in terms of exact armour, it would be based on the lorica segmentata of Roman times (see http://www.larp.com/legioxx/lorica.html), and then with arabic elements which I have not yet determined entirely how they would flow with the Roman Imperialistic armour.... possibly some points and curves to the armour here and there.... certainly a star motif. In any case they have spears and scimitars and curved daggers as weapons of choice.
Civilian clothes reference pics I have yet to decide upon, so sticking to armour is good. He much prefers it anyway.
Reference Pics: Unfortunately I have never yet found any reference pic I am truly happy with. There exist no actors or people I know of who seem to resemble him significantly enough for me to offer those, either. However, some vague resemblances have flitted through my mind on occasion, and I list them here (even if they are not exactly Arabic)
Reference 1: Jim Caviezel, the Count of Monte Cristo - oddly enough something about him reminded me of Lance, but only when he was Edmond Dantes, so prior to the transformation into the count with beard and such. So I have included some of the rare pics of the boy cleanshaven:

THE TWINS: AYIS AND MIILAS
(Ahem yes, I decided to use the names of the equus based upon them)
Although I am looking for individual pics of them, I am -also- looking for pics of them together, always situated back-to-back. And in their case, I am looking for pics of them at either aged 12 or aged 18. Note that they have less detail in their descriptions than Lance. If needed I can and will give more, but most of it can be left to artistic licence.
AYIS: Mid-brown skin, dark chestnut rich brown hair that falls in waves down her back, hazel eyes, the silver 8-pointed star on her forehead. In personality she is quiet and dutiful, and she is of the nobility, hence her clothing should reflect this. She, too, hails from a middle eastern land.
Clothing: Sleeveless robes ankle-length, Egyptian style although with eastern designs (either geometric, knotwork or invented). Jewellery, quite a bit possibly. General layout, if there are borders, are up to artistic licence, same goes with colouring. Symbolism: Either associated with phoenix-types birds or serpents or flowers or rain.

MIILAS: (He is twin to the sheltered noble girl and thus has the same colouring as her). He should also have the silver 8-pointed star tattooed on his forehead. He is a mischievous kind of lad, ref pics would be from:

(Colours would also be quite similar to the pic, except that his eyes are hazel rather than the brown in the ref pics!)
In personality he is somewhat spontaneous but also has a cruel streak, is remarkable arrogant.
Clothing: Something to reflect middle-eastern nobility, maybe robes, I have not yet decided! Probably quasi-ancient Roman, quasi-ancient Greek, quasi-ancient Egyptian, quasi-ancient Persian.
Symbolism: Phoenix, gambling, short blades

GAILIN
(Indeed, also a pseudonym!)
Personality/Info: Religious fanatic, soldier of God and Inquisitor.
Appearance: Aged about 22 years. Tall and medium to slender build. Chiselled, ascetic features, partially slanted and almost elven in appearance you could say. Pale skin. Ash blonde or blonde hair that has been tied back in a low ponytail at the nape of his neck. His eyes are a very dark blue, almost black in colour.

Clothing Possibility 1: Think military uniform, more modern in style or 19th century English. White would be the predominant colour, with a white sash, epaulettes also. Not to mention white cloak (I know it does be rather impractical) Sword would be a sabre. There would be black riding boots. Any extra colour would be red (somewhere there should be more red, not sure where) And the symbol for this particular army is a flaming golden circle/wheel (wheel without spokes). There would be sabre and dagger belted to the hip.
Clothing Possibility 2: Exactly the same as possibility 1, but substitute a drab brown cloak for the white cloak described.
