Can you draw dreadlocks?

Asking because the individual I want drawn has them and artist have trouble drawing them...

If you can create your O.C on tektek thats away around the no O.C rule, but no extras like (add a scar here or they have a pink streak in the hair here) It's in my rules and do's and don'ts.
