and about your sketching vs. coloring comment in the other thread, i see what you mean. coloring takes quite a while, though 20 mins is definitely good timing XD
and i like the idea of not using the pen tool to give the lineart more life. :3

Mmyes. Colouring usually takes me FOREVER, cause I have to get it so perfect. But this colouring is... well, it's fun. As opposed to painstaking. xDD
Yarrr. Seriously, though, the pen tool is so generic. You can tell when someone's used it. But when you make the lines different thicknesses and whatever, it looks like it's really been inked, and it just makes it look nicer, as opposed to "hallo. I was drawn on da computerz. C:"

but i guess that has a lot to do with me only having open canvas...which isn't too great with cell shading xD;

I do have a wishlist. I actually want a PSP [recently bought some final fantasy games for it. xD; HINTHINT much?], and maybe an art program for my laptop, so I can draw wherever. =B
