cool! What books did you get signed? I've never been to a book signing, it must be awesome blaugh packing for school? are you going to college or something?

yeah, i'm one of those nearly broke college students...^_^ i was able to go get my twilight series signed though...(and i bought a twilight for my friend who couldn't go with me...) i'm in OH, and Stephanie Meyer came to Cincinnatti yesterday...the book store was doing all kinds of events and you could decorate/draw something for her and put it in a folder for her if you wanted to...(i tried, but i wasn't happy with what i was drawing for her so i kept hold of it... sweatdrop ) but, i met a few new friends there...and i can't believe how many jacob-haters there are!!! crying it's just so sad!!!

What is the Twilight series?

it's a seires of five books and the third one just came out...the story ends at book four but she's re-writing the first one from the other main characters perspective...

anyway, it's a love story that's basically about a girl who falls in love with a vampire, and the complexities that that relationship arises...it's a simple read and the overall story is really pretty good...and i like how she makes referances to other clasical works (in New Moon (the second book) it's Romeo and Juliet, and in Eclipse (the third book) its Wuthering Heights...) what drew me into them, though, are the covers! xd they're really beautiful in thier simplicity! so if you don't read them, you should at leaste take a look at the covers...lol...the author is pretty nice too...she puts some of the things that she had to edit out on her site, as well as a few other kinda cool things...i'm waiting to read the take-outs of Eclipse... ^_^ and if it wasn't so expensive i would get the japanese version of them because i want to see what's different in translation, and...they have ILLUSTRATIONS!!! xd lol...

sorry it's taking so long to get your commission done! sweatdrop i'm working in illustrator so the lines are nice and clean so it matches akeboshi's style...and it takes me a while to work with vectors...i've got the tree/leaves almost done, and Nieve and his fish are done, so i just need to finish the tree, do the other two characters, and add a few of the other little chachkas into the mix... sweatdrop i'll probably do some of them in photoshop, but for the most part all the black is going to be done in illustrator...once again, sorry for the wait! sweatdrop

well, if you read them, promise me you won't cheat and read ahead or look at the site and read the extras for the book your on before your done reading it... i had a friend who did that a few times throughout the series and she ruined it for herself!!! (she still likes them though...)

lol...i think it's funny when you call me Miss Aku...

anyway, the drawing i was trying to do for Stephanie Meyer, kept making me angry...so i kept it...(i officially can't draw the love intrest in the series...because he's not perfect enough!!!... crying maybe later though...) i think it must have been funny watching me work on it though because i kept grunting and complaining to myself and the people watching me...lol...if you want me to send you a scan of the lineart once i scan it, i can... ^_^
