lol...that's alright, my friends and i do too...if i recall correctly, one of my friend's quotes was, "is it strange that i start talking about eating people when i get tired?..." lol...and my other friend and i were thinking of various horrible ways to kill people durring lunch one year for her character Dr. Hart...(who researches how to kill people...) we've also decided due to a fluke of mine while i was drawing a picture of him for her, that he has man-sized over-head cabinets in his lab/office...lol...

anyway, long story-short, it's ok to have a strange sense of humor...it makes the world a lot more fun! ^_^

i see, i see, i think it's the clothes that you chose to equip...it's still very classy/cool looking, but the hat, and the "skimpy" dress i think is what makes it look more like a pirate...(nobles have a tendancy of wearing a lot of rich fabrics to show off the fact that they can afford it, while pirates rob/steal everything, so they have a tendancy of weary cheaper/stolen stuff, or not wearing much because it would be inconvenient in thier "work"...lol...that's how i look at it at least...)

ok...i see, i see...i'm really uneducated in gian items...lol...

Kimmi: lol...well, i wouldn't count the Vaeru image as "quick" but the head-shots and the lineart image i submitted to Rem's contest would be...honestly the Vaeru image took a decent amount of time, and was completed quickly because i had a concept and just wanted to get it out...i had even reached a point where i was almost working on it for too long and was trying to push myself to finish...(i have a tendancy of being really enthusiastic about an image/being able to work a really long time on it and not feel it, and after that time has passed, if it's not done, then it has a high chance of not geting completed...that or i'll have to re-work it...and that's where a few of the commissions are at the moment...they've been sitting for too long in incompleteness...)

Kamika Sugi: sure...but when i re-open i might change the rules/re-vamp the shop, so i'll try and let you know...the best idea, is to just keep in touch and you might get art anyway from me...if i'm presented with a good idea i will normally do it come hell or high water...lol...

lol, you called it quick. thats why i made the comment. i can tell it took more effort than what you said.

and by quick i was inferring about the 100 page image not the Vaeru one XDD i already knew that one wasnt.

Kimmi: lol...ok, well, yeah, the pic i did for the 100th page was kinda a quicky...(maybe took about 30-45min tops...) and that's mainly because i was playing around and adapted it from a doodle i was working on...lol...(the original was a boy w/ sort, spikey, black hair. eek ) really, it just depends on the image/how enthusiastic i am about it which makes drawing it fast or slow...it also makes a big difference if i'm in my slump or not...lol...

Luna: HAPPY BE-LATED BIRTHDAY! (i know i'm about a week late, but i don't think that i said it early...so i'm saying it now! >_< )

General audience: so i had a concept that i really wanted to do of a drawing drawing itself...(kinda like the Drawing Hands by Escher, i was inspired by it since i finally hung up the poster i have...) so this is what i came up with:



about the image:
originally it wasn't supposed to be my avi, but i like it anyway...the first version of it was kinda going along with the original concept, but then i looked at the wings and decided i liked the idea of having an outline with a "drawn" middle, so i worked with that idea which turned into the second version...this happened half-way through drawing the first version, so i didn't add on the hand until after the second version was done...lol...also, this is why it's been left a little incomplete...

oh, and the "pen" she's using is actually the wacom tablet pen that i use, and the reason her hand looks a little funky is because that's how i hold my pencil...there are also a few other things about myself that is included in the picture that seemed to work/be apropriate... ^_^ unfortunately, when i scaled the second one down a little, it ended up getting a little blured, so i appologize for the poor quality...

anyway, if anyone has any good/bad criticism, let me know...
