hey all...sorry for not being around much...just been busy with my own stuff lately...(a.k.a. school...) honestly, i haven't been doing much art in general but a few pieces that i was really wanting to work on (mainly a few character profiles)...but i'll get back on top of things and start working on commissions again soon...(sorry for the long wait guys!!! >_< ) as well as try to get my competition pieces done...(i almost forgot about them... -_- )

in other news, i might be commissioned by a few classmates to paint/design a pair of shoes for them! >_< (i had to buy a pair of sneakers for my tuesday and thursday classes and ended up taking sharpies to them...lol...so some of my classmates are thinking about giving me some money and a pair of shoes for me to decorate basically...) and if people would be interested in me doing a pair for them, you can contact me and we can talk about shipping and such...(for these i will only take real money though...)

also, if anyone would be willing to help me out with a fund-raiser, that would be great! (i'm willing to do commissions for real money and such again...) my good friend in my japanese class has only one year left, but he might be kicked out of school due to a lack of money...so my roommate and i want to try and do something for him...she's a writer and would be more than happy to write something for you, or we could do a compilation piece where she would write a scene, poem, etc. and i would illustrate it or at least draw an image derrived from it etc...or vis versa...(if you're curious about her writing style, her deviantart page is: cesura.deviantart.com...)

anyway, i hope evryone's been having a good past week or so!!! >_< i'll try to be around, but i might not be on as consistantly as before... -_- (i need to go job hunting too at some point...otherwise i'll be broke and a leach to my parents, which isn't a good thing...)

awww that's horrible! >.< If I have a lot of moneyz I'll be willing to pay for your work and your friend work ^^U But actually I have enough with your commission sad because I've have to buy some university books (between 30-50 dollars each xp ) and I have to pay the registration fee Oo crying

....wow....i haven't been around for quite a while.... sweatdrop i've just been busy with school and my roommate...thus not much gaia time... -_- i do check it, but i don't post often...so sorry about that!!! >_<

oh...by the way...i'm trying to design a website for myself so that i can actually get a job...(it's basically just going to be my resume and portfolio for places that i'm applying to/people who may want to commission me to look at...but i thought i'd post the design so far and see what people thought...(i changed my name to my s/n for now, and the black boxes throughout the business cards i've designed are to take out the name and personal info that were on there...but i did design all of them for my brother...lol...sadly, he didn't use any of them and ended up making his own...oh well...) i made everything on here, minus the font and the photo of my brother in the bottom right card design...(i'm really proud of that bird photo...lol...) anyway, please let me know what you guys think!!! and whether i should add anything to the site...(like page headers, portfolio sub-categories, etc.)



P.S. if your screen is bigger than 800x600, then you would have black on either side of the centered design...

i'm still busy with a lot of stuff including commissions at the moment...so my slots are closed right now...but i am open for bribes... wink otherwise, i'll try to contact you when i re-open...(it's best to just kinda keep up with my random postings on the board though...sadly it's not that active, but i am around every once in a while... -_-' )

i also might hold a competition for OCs where i would draw the winning entry...so that's another possibility...(that's going to be a ways away though...)

i'll get around to posting some work eventually...i just have nothing all that exciting to post...(and i really need to take a photo of my sneakers at some point...) anyway, do you have any fun holloween plans? i might be going to a party tonight and then having some arcade fun...but other than that, i don't think i've got anything going on...(i still need to decide what i'm going to wear...though it could be my hakama and such...but i want to have some fun with makeup...lol...)
