LOL XDDD Hey. I understand what the books were trying to say...but I don't personally believe it. For me...its just a good story, that's what I'm interested in. Yes, its totally aligned with the post-modernistic theories, but hey...

It's a parallel universe story. Any parallel universe is saying: This is how things are DIFFERENT IN THIS WORLD... so when -enter uppity-sensitive censorship group here- takes offense it blows my mind. The authors aren't saying that -this- world is really that way, or trying to sway anyone... It's just nice to have an alternate perspective on familiar concepts. Sheesh razz

People need to simmer down and remember it's just a story. ^^
