Personality: In the scheme of things and when it comes down to it, Satoshi is the complete opposite of his elder brother and twin, Seiichi. Preferring the comforts of being inside and silence to the noise of the outside one in which the other seems to love so much, his overall disposition seems to match such preferences. Intelligent and as sharp-minded as his name implies, it isn't surprising to find him within his room or a library with a nose in a book, staring out a window or into nothing in a pretence of daydreaming or practicing on the piano or violin in which both he's quite talented and adept at - whether solo or in a duet with his sister's flute.

Despite being naive when it comes to certain things and rather painfully oblivious when it comes to matters regarding himself, Satoshi does prove to be quite perceptive and insightful when it comes to others and is often the voice of reason in response to Seiichi's seemingly lack thereof. However, the two brothers are more-or-less close, and it isn't at all difficult for Seiichi to 'persuade' his younger brother into doing things he otherwise wouldn't think about doing, and he'll often be the one attempting to get his brother 'off the hook'.

He tends to keep to himself, both interaction and feelings-wise and, while not all too obvious, he tends to have a rather low self-esteem and perception of himself.

Personality: With an overall gentle disposition, the most common places to find Keiichi would be in the gardens tending to the plants and flowers or library losing himself in a world of text and literature. Like his brother, he does like to read and learn things, though he prefers going about doing so in a non-direct approach, far different from Hisame's 'blunt' one. However, he doesn't harbour that great of an interest in the modern world like the other, and therefor remains much more unlearnt of its ways.

One could consider him to be naive much like Satoshi is .. though to a far worse degree (yet not as terrible as his mother had been) and oblivious to quite a bit due to his tendencies to keep to himself and withdraw from his surroundings.

Despite being a bit on the reticent side, he still is able to establish and hold relationships (friendships) with others ... though often, he tends to set himself for possible abuse and manipulation on their part ...

He cares (sometimes thought to be a bit too much) about the feelings of those around him, whether friend or not, and shies from situations and possible confrontations which might end up with someone being hurt ... whether it be emotional or physical. He also is rather easy-going when it comes to forgiving someone .. to a point. If the matter needing forgiveness for involves just him, despite whether or not he'd been hurt in any way from it ... it's forgiven. However, on the other hand ... if the matter needing forgiveness involved someone he cares for in any sort of means, then it's not unheard of for him to form a grudge.

Keiichi's a helper. If there's something he can do to help someone, he's willing to do it. In such ways, it's not too difficult for one to persuade or manipulate him into doing things given the right circumstances. But, if something involves the possible hurting of another - be it person, thing or animal, he would more than likely decline. Though, if it were a life or death situation, or if someone he cared for were in danger ...

When it comes down to it, though, if he can he'll rather avoid interactions with other people - or get it over with as soon as possible. Or just drown out the rest of the world and lose himself in whatever it is that tends to occupy his mind. On the other hand, he has a real knack for handling animals of all different kinds and types, perhaps having something to do with his ties to the earth element or he might just have a natural affinity for creatures not of the human variety.

(When it comes down to it, he tends to care more for others than himself.)

The whole switching of the name beginnings was unintended. Unlike with the whole Kazuki and Hideko deal ... These two are also far different from 'Tamaki' and 'Kyouya', even if it doesn't seem that way. >_< There are just some things unable to be seen unless you're one to bring the character to life, or see them come to life. Otherwise, characterisation word choices are just those that fit best.
