Nobody likes a mean trainer, for your sake and ours please respect the rules of this joint art shop. Don’t be a Gary Oak people.
There will be no Team Rocket shenanigans if you are caught stealing pokemon, you will lose all of yours and have to start over. :c A second offense will result in the immediate termination of your pokedex and you will be booted from our thread!
This is not solely a “Pokemon Art” joint thread. We technically can refuse any “battle” we like, as it is our right at trainers. Others in the thread might be more adapt to pokemon art, some may not. Please be considerate.
We use the pokemon sprites as cupons of some sort. They are NOT for sale as it is against TOS to sell them. We are NOT selling trainer sprites of any kind either.
There is no selling of slowpoke tails here, [no spamming] your pokedex will immediately be revoked and you will lose your starter and have to leave. :c
The reigon "champions" for this thread are myself [blondautumnangel], and Inori Hisagi. Anything and everything we say is final, we can also edit and change the rules at any given time.
Please! Stay and “battle” us for a while. We won’t bite!
Your goal in the pokemon world is to catch them all. Here, we have similar goals! "Catching" pokemon here allows you to trade them in for discounts on art. Here's a list of possible discounts!
They are the uber rare re-colors of normal pokemon that allow you to get any artists art for FREE! However they arn't present in a trainers team. The only shinies you can trade in for art are found IN THE FORUM. The first person to quote the wild shiny ultimatly catches it.
Here are a few examples of what shiny pokemon look like!
Legendary pokemon can be found in a trainers party! The first person who orders from them, automatically receives the legendary to be used to earn 50% off. Legendaries are rarities, and only tend to appear once every so often. They can only be used once, and only on the trainer you received them from!
Here are some exaples of legendary pokemon!
These are the pokemon you just tend to find normally in tall grass. Although they arn't normally redeemable for anything by themselves, with other pokemon you can receive discounts from multiple artists. You can gain multiple pokemon of the same type, depending on how much you spend.
Billy buys art for 60k from a fire type artist according to the chart below he gets one random fire pokemon!
Tall Grass Chart
1 Pokemon Captured = 20-60k art
2 pokemon Captured = 70-150k art
3 pokemon captured = 160-300k art
4 pokemon captured = 310-500k art
5 pokemon captured = 510k-700k art
6 pokemon captured = 700k+ art
3 Same Type [ex. All Rock types] = 10%
3 Different Types [ex. Water/Grass/Fire] = 20%
5 Different Types = 30%
10 Different Types = 40%
If a trainer has all stages of an evolution they get discounts too!
Example Of An 3 Stage Evolution:
2 Stage Evolution = 15%
3 Stage Evolution 25%
WARNING: For those of you planning on just ripping sprites off of photobucket for discounts I DO NOT advise it. All of us artitst keep track of whom gets what sprites and when they use them. It prevents fraud and duplicate discounts. Anyone caught doing this will be banned from the thread.
8/12/12-OPENING! NEARLY THERE!
8/12/12-Searching for a Dragon-type artist. If interested, post here
8/29/12-The Poison Artist Poetta has been unresponsive in the thread, if you are choosing to order her art please refrain until we have figured out what is going on. Although her three slots claim to be 'free' we have no knowledge of her ever updating them. But do not worry, there are tons of other eager artists waiting for you to battle them!
