And that's interesting on how you design clothes! But the question is.. where do you find these far out clothes to base reference with bits and pieces? Do you look at J-rocker clothes or some of those crazy video game character clothes?
Sorry if I ask too many questions DX I'm just trying to ween info from you so I can possibly design the characters of my stories, clothes better.. because right now.. they are not too exciting. >.>; (Jeans and a shirt kinda boring.) lol XD;; And especially since I plan on doing animated story boards with voice actors and that kinda thing.. I wanna give the people more info about the style of the character they may voice for. Because it's all in the clothes! o-o;

DOLLFIES. >_>

A few years ago, I was very obsessed with BJDs (Ball Jointed Dolls). Just google that, and you should come up with many sites that sells them, and their clothes. And believe me, their clothes are worth a lot more than what you and I wear. XD In the beginning I use to order outfits from the sites, but then when I drew my own, I got them specially made, and hahaha, I spent several hundred dollars on getting their outfits made.

Let me see if I have any photos of my dollfies with their commissioned outfits. XD

I was also a big fan of X and loved the artworks by CLAMP for it. They drew a lot of really cool outfits for their characters too. They have at least two artbooks for X. Their other series are worth looking at too. XD I also got one of their outfits commissioned for my Phoenix dollfie. XD

If I had the money I'd get like 5 of those BJD bodies and just build my own from the base =_=.. But auuuugh! x.x Every time I see someone have like one or two I send off the envy waves. XD

Yeah, Phoenix's hair was custom made. One of a kind. XD I have 3. But they don't do much these days except stand/sit around. I don't buy anything else for them now. X_x I spent way too much money on them.

They're pretty so sitting/stand around works. They seem to be really popular, just not so much in this part of the world.

Rar, you can always go on your own and make some new friends! Or, you could try volunteering at one, so you can work behind the scenes and help out and meet all the artists and other people that way too. XD

Hahaha, I have no idea where you live, so I can't help you with that. I always drive or get a lift of someone these days since I generally go as an artist and have a table there and stock to sell. XD

I'm going to a convention at the very end of July/start of August. Twas supposed to be this weekend, but they moved it. I've never been to one before, so I'm looking forward to it.

@Ravij - I'll be 17 in April and I've never been to a con and I haven't even started drivers' ed, so don't feel bad. //o^

Truthfully I didn't start Driver's Ed till I was in my late 17's >.>.... And your younger nad haven't been to a con ; ;... 3 years younger! You still have 3 years of your teen life to live! crying Don't throw it away like I did just so you can be a mole and hiss if a single UV ray hits so much as a freckle because your too busy making deadlines with writing and drawing and.. yeah.. It's like those "Don't do drugs" commercials >_> Don't do it.. Unless.. you're not like me and don't like to bite off more than you can chew =_=
