I think for the BL artbook, Amber, Komala, Katie and I are contributing... We're aiming for 60+ pages of art so we can get it perfect bound as a soft cover. XDDD

i only started CGing properly like 2 yrs ago O_o;; so i'm behind too...and even then...i only started figuring out lineart skills D:

lolz, that sounds like me - TV and games... except I'm also writing and jobseeking. You're very good to only be CGing for 2 years, but I'm sure you've been drawing much longer than that.

I'm persistant once I start something. I finish it even if it takes forever...which mouse CGing used to take. Its just that half the time I dont have the incentive to start drawing anything. Funny...I used to draw more at school because I was bored than I do now...

I paid for half my tablet I got for Christmas hoping it would give me incentive to draw and improve because mouse CGing is hard but it hasnt worked so far. Though maybe it will if I can actually work out why it doesnt seem to register on GIMP

But yeah... you have to have patience and perservance. X_x When I started, I could get an artwork done in a few hours. But they were simple and they were crap. Now my normal style pieces takes weeks and months. X_x

As for the artbook... I'm checking with Komala now about the price. We're thinking of printing at LuLu... so hey, cheaper shipping for those who buy direct from LuLu in the US! XD

Meow. Okay. Artbook... It will be 68 pages, soft cover, perfect bound. At least 60 pages of pure BL artage by Amber (Rae Comics - Marines, Catching Faeries, Cabin Boys, etc), Komala, Katie (Generation), and me. We're thinking $25 USD, and $30 AUD. Is that too expensive.

Oh, and Amber... We're not 100% confirmed on her because she's kinda fallen off the face of the planet, but we'll track her down sooner or later.

trthfully, i've been drawing by hand all my life, but i've only started learning how to draw better figures once i started Cging more, prob about the 2nd yr of CGing, i learnt more about proportions and such..but even then i still cant get it right. ATM tho, i'm working on betters skills. havent even showed any of that progress on DA so i think it'd be a shocker.

hahaha TV and games is fun, i want to do more of that, but i'm keen in getting better at drawing >w<!!
My brother got me my tablet for my 17th bday, on that day i always used it ><! *i know the dreadfl feeling of mouse CGing..i did it for 2yrs too...2 yrs of mouse CGing and 2 yrs of tablet work x___x sooooo it was hard...rly hard...but i used to be really quick at it, now when i pick up a mouse to CG..omg its hard.

SAME here! school always convinced me to draw..except for those annoying buggars who disturb me by peering over my shoulder asking "what r u drawing?" over 10 trillion times. -__- but i loved study periods, always drew when i finished my work early >w<!

i was thinking of doing that *back in those dinosaur days* but...never did..,thats if i got good works, DX one day, one day once i feel confident with myself lol! Possibly make one as a portfolio ><!

We're getting like 50 copies printed and shipping to AU to sell at conventions. It's a POD company, so if we need more, we can get more printed at a later age. Frankly, the base price for Lulu is very good. I've looked into a few companies in AU and the prices make you want to spew blood. >_>

@Caley: That's true, Its never too late to start. It just makes me depressed sometimes seeing people like 15 with much better skills than me XD

My DA says that I started in around april 2006, so thats longer than I thought I'd been drawing anime. And that makes me around 20, nearly 21.

*Cough* Though I obviously don't act that old because someone thought i was MUCH younger. Not that you ever told me how old you thought I was.
