Sorry everyone, I'm taking a short break from taking on new art requests and won't have much time to dedicate to producing art for the next few weeks. If you have your heart dead-set on commissioning some of my artwork, and just hadn't gotten around to it beacuase my slots were too full, or you were short on gold, you can still leave me a request to look over (I might be able to make time for a relatively simple picture or two), but I can't guarantee that I can do it any time in the near future. I really appreciate the support I've gotten so far, and all the people who have bought from my shop, or considered doing so 3nodding

In the example, CheChe requested a single human, full body, deformed, b&w, in sig format. That would be 90k+50k+10k+free+15k= 165k

I have the right to decline commissions and certain requests, and will inform you if I choose to do so.

If you request a Black and White picture, and decide later that you would like it in full color, you can submit a request to have it colored for a 55k fee (the extra 5k is for me having to find the project and sample pic again sweatdrop ) Similarly, if you request a full scale picture, and would like a sig or banner sig out of it, I will do that for 20k or 35k, respectively.

I will NOT color random submissions of your own art or of other people's artwork, nor will I make sigs or banners out of them. I respect original artwork as the property of the person who drew it, and hope others extend me the same courtesy.

I will not draw pornographic material, anything offensively-directed to other people, nor anything that violates Gaias terms of service. Tastefully sexy is OK though.

Please keep it reasonable. Extremely cluttered avatars and very intricate requests are very time-consuming. While the order process is generally first come, first served, I might occasionally skip an extremely detailed request in favor of getting some simpler requests finished first, to clear backlogs before coming back to you.

As much as I would love to draw for everyone, there may be times where I am insanely busy IRL and will have to decline/cancel commissions. Of course, on such occasions, I will not take new commissions nor money, and will inform you of this by editing the topic title, and sending pm's to any people with open commissions. I will give the option of waiting out the storm, if you really have your heart set on being drawn.

Styles Explained:

Step 1

Single Avatar(human, elf, vampire, grombie, zombie, zurg): If you have two legs or a fish tail, start here lol

Single Avatar(centaur):.... Four legs? Hooves? Is the area below your waist twice as big as your torso? This applies to the rather large spider body, as well, or anything that makes your lower body larger and more detailed than normal.

Couple Avatars (male+female, male+male, female+female): Do you want to be a duo? Or just have split personality? stare

Large Companions/equips (male+female, male+male, female+female): If you want your avatar to have something like my Tenshi Gaia-tan, or any companion that's people-sized. A small kitten in the corner is fine for a single avatar. If it's higher than your waist, it costs extra. Also, if there are more than two small companions, count it as a large companion. Plushies, kittens, puppies, etc. are being counted as 1/3 of a companion at this time. We're nice, we round down 3nodding

As a brief note, if your art ends up being something like a couple of centaurs, or a centaur with a large companion, or a centaur with your significant other riding it while 3 doves fly overhead and a dozen fairies dance around them, we will review it to see if it's too complicated to do, and will tabulate the costs using the numbers above. Those numbers again are 90k per human/merfolk, 120k per centaur, and 70k per large companion or per 3 small companions. The couples listing isn't its own special catergory, it's just frequently requested, and saves those people a little bit of math wink

Step 2

Full Body: Your whole body, from your hair down to your shoes. For time management reasons, we are currently only doing waist-up pictures in "Normal" style. If you really really need a full-body shot for some reason, pm me and I'll talk it over with AngryCello. It might get your art dropped to the end of the queue, or cost you a bit extra, tho.

Bust: Head, chest, maybe some arms or shoulders

Face Only: Disembodied head mode

NOTE: If you request a bust, or a face only, we charge at standard human/elf/vampire/zombie/grombie/zurg rates. If AngryCello doesn't have to draw a horse's body, we're not going to charge you extra just because you happen to have a horses body. Same with those over-sized spiders and such.

Step 3

Black & white: Drawn, inked, scanned, and cleaned up. Maybe some shading, but nothing too fancy

Colored: The deluxe treatment, with color and shading. Takes a lot of time, hence the extra fee sweatdrop

Step 4

Super Deformed: No detail to hands or feet, pudgy limbs, wiggly. You know, like AngryCello imagines me to be, any time he's not actually looking stressed If you're looking for characters with heads as big as their bodies, look no further

Chibi: AngryCello chibi. Still super cutesy, but with longer limbs, more detail to them, etc. An example for a cute couple chibi from him is what he drew that ended up in his sig. It falls a little outside normal chibi proportions, but the heads are big enough that we still think of them as chibi. Basically built to the proportions of gaia sprites

Normal: Built to realistic proportions. Art in this style will use your reference pic as inspiration, but try to take it to the next level, with human proportions. Less cutesy than the other two styles, but generally takes more work and more detail to bring it out.

Step 5

Sig (edited down to fit within 500x500px, and under 100kb): Will take up your whole sig, or most of it. AngryCello's sig has one of these in it, and Paige Rage and Souko Ravenwood's completed commissions both are edited down to this size. It's usually 500px tall, and however wide to maintain aspect ratio.

Banner-sig (edited to fit within 500x200, with custom text, under 100kb): Order this if you want a couple of elements to your sig, and just want our art to be a part of it.

Full-scale art (uploaded at the resolution scanned/colored): Okay, so it's not at native resolution to the scanner. That's effin huge. It's at the size that it was colored at tho, which is still pretty big. See Kinalune, Siren_Fae, and Empress Boa's finished commissions below for a peek at the size

No problem it's gorgeous. So what do you use to color/draw?

I draw in pencil, ink with fine-line markers, and then I scan and color in Photoshop. Sometimes, I ink with nibs.
