5 episodes of Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends...THE LAST FIVE! DX
Egads that is one of the greatest shows EVER! I hope they will rerun them!
Actually, that is one of the things that kinda bugs me about cartoon stations--after a show is done, they may rerun it for a little while, but then after that they start unloading new shows. Now, this is good in a way, because I remember as a kid I would flip channels and see Hey Arnold on and think, "Hm, I've seen them all...I want to watch something else." So, when new shows came on, I would watch them and be all excited--this in itself is a cycle that is never ending. New show becomes the old show that is replaced by another new show that ends up becoming the old show. The thing that gets to me is when we get older we get nostalgic about our cartoons-or really any kind of show for that matter. We look back and think, "I remember that show! Oh!OH! That one episode was my favorite--where they went to the old haunted house..." Maybe it is just because I am such a cartoon fanatic, I don't know, but after I go years without a show I really enjoyed and I remember it, I want to see it again, however it is sometime impossible to get that with some shows. Some shows will get put on DVDs and we can watch them whenever we want, but others, like Dexter's Lab for instance, if they are on DVD there is no advertisement announcing it so those of us, myself included, who love that show don't know it is out there! Also, older shows like Mighty Max, another show I love, can only be found on Youtube, and you can sometimes find ads saying they have DVDs on them...but I don't trust 'em if I don't see it on a commercial first.
All in all, what I am really trying to say is, I hope that Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends doesn't end up like some of the shows I love that I can't find anymore--it is a treasure among cartoons, and I wish very much to own DVDs of it in the future so I can watch all the crazy action that is the humorous, beautifully drawn, wonderfully written--Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends.
