So, I have been obsessively drawing this OC (actually fanart of someone else's OC--"Crispy-Gypsy" on DA), but for the life of me, I cannot chibify him. Not in my blood, I guess. I was wondering if you think you could take a crack at it?

Pose: Hm...how about holding a stalk of asparagus? ^_^ Yeah! But not eating it!
Additional Info: In the reference you'll notice that he leans a lot, keeping his legs together. I don't care if you keep his legs together, but the lean should be expressed in whatever pose you use, whether forward or backward lean. The arm holding the asparagus should be close to the chest but the other one should be held out away from the body. 3/4 view, smiling, both eyes open.

This might be way outside of your comfort zone, being a cartoon style rather than anime style and therefore harder to chibify. (Heck, it's hard to overlook that nose!) If it is, just tell me so. I won't feel bad--I've already encountered another person who turned this down. I really like your work so I thought I'd give it another shot, but I know it'd be especially hard for you to modify your style to properly render a chibified approximation of the chin, which I do think is important (the nose can go! ^_^), since your style seems to be flat-chinned.
I don't know why I'm obsessing over this character--aside from the good design. I guess it just speaks to my real-life taste in guys: scrawny, preppy and smart with British accents. The nerdy type is perfect for my quiet bookish introverted self.

Thanks for taking the time to read!
