Two dark figures entered the tavorn. Hoods hid both their faces as they ordered drinks and sat in a dark corner- talking softly. Beautiful green eyes looked back at the matching pair from the darkness of the hood. "The Dark Lord is getting stronger." A male voice said from one of the dark forms. "Of course he is." A womans voice answered.

Lyryx sat in the back of the tavern, watching them in interest. She cocked a slightly pointed ear at the mention of "Dark Lord" and listened. Her ears were curious, for though pointed, they were of the wrong shape to be an elf's... Her own eyes were yellow and her pupils slitted.

Zai, the woman of the two, sighed and shook her head, causing the hood to fall back. Dark hair spilled over her shoulders in gentle curls. Kail - the boy hissed in warning. He didn't like her showing her face, as it wasn't one easily forgotten.

Sy'rai sat in a tree as he watched the scene unfold he had been attracted to the spot when he saw something had fallen from the sky. His tilted his head to the side the girl she was hurt and he slowly began to come down from the tree.
