Winner of the freebie event will be announced in the next few upcoming days. Also, I'll hopefully be getting a new mouse soon so I can actually work on art! Sorry for delays! D: I have SO many WIPS out too and I can't work on any of them til I get my compy taken care of. ;_; June 7th 2OO9 :: I got a bunch of things done last May! wOOt! Slots were open the last few days and I accepted a BUNCH of orders to last me over the course of the summer. Also, I'm probably going to be taking some freelance work as well depending on how well one of things I'm going to be doing works out for a website. I'll keep updates coming soon! May 3rd 2OO9 :: So uhhh. April kind of sucked as far as me getting things done. Just been so busy with school and life in general. On a side note. I raised prices today and I plan on opening slots late May. This will be a couple weeks after my exams and everything. I'll be finishing up with this college semester and looking for a full time job. Btw. Dane Cook is awesome. Just saw the first of the Isolated Incident tour in Albany, New York. 8D April 2Oth 2OO9 :: So, March was a decent month art wise considering I haven't had my computer really working since... mid October and a week here or there in November and December? Since March 8th when everything was back up for good I've got about... 13 big things done. & 3 chibi flobs. (That's more then I've done in the last 6-7 months! XD ) Only 2 so far for the month of April though. It's been pretty hectic. College has picked up pretty fast, I've had multiple papers to do every week and the next couple really won't be much different. Also, the last few weeks I've hardly had any time to myself other then school work really. Spending a lot of time with my boy Nick, it's gonna be 3 months in just a few days now. >w<; <333 Been treated very well lately and am pretty content with things RL now - so long as my grades pick up. XP My former 3.9 is long gone. gonk Anyhow, doing the best I can with keeping up on art. Hopefully there will be more new things coming soon! March 22th 2OO9 :: Just got back after spending a few days in Florida~ Got a lot of art done the last couple weeks, going to keep working on finishing through everything. Hopefully, I'll be done by the end of the month. :3 I AM a full time college student though so please don't harass me if I'm still slow. D: ALSO. Offering free art on page 12OO! I've been incredibly sick and very busy with work as well as a course I was taking. I passed that tonight with flying colors. ;D Hopefully it'll wind me up with a new and better job. Wish me luck. heart Goal : All comms complete by the new year. * * * Just a heads up ; I generally give priority to orders with people who actually come in, chat and aren't just about to make one post and leave. That drives me crazy. X3; November 2Oth 2OO8 :: Beware! Large Update and summary of the last few months. So, after completing very little between June/July to Early September, due to an extremely busy summer of work ( I was working overtime, 5O-6O hour weeks ) and an even more conflicted personal conflict going on as well, I finally hunkered down and got my act together. By mid october, I got back into an art groove and for the next month, completed a lot of digital pieces, some which I consider a lot of my personal best. Then a bit of a road block ; computer problems. Dx Just after mid october to a nearly mid november. Now, I've got that taken care of and have been started working through everything once again. Although I'm still not 1OO percent caught up with everything, I'm getting there and trying harder and trying to raise the bar with every piece I do. Also. A pretty cool event ; My art shop celebrated 1OOO pages the same time as it celebrated and hit the one year mark. :] Nov, 13th. This is largely in part due to all of my awesome friends and thread regulars - without you guys, this shop wouldn't of been open as long as it has, nor would I be on gaia anymore. So, a huge thanks to everyone who's stuck around with support! Steffi, Lucy, Jenny, Zack, Samantha & Jenn especially! You guys have always been there for me, through thick and thin and it means so much. <3 Huge thanks to all of the other thread regs as well! Princess, Pseudo, Fae, Nessie, Jen, Nik! You guys all rock my socks. :] Just a few days later ; My 19th B-Day. <333 I got a ton of awesome gifts, inlcuding several snazzy pixelated items and some pretty sweet art as well. The best gift of all? Having people I care about to celebrate though. :3 With all this said, I'm probably not going to be taking another hiatus like I was planning. Instead, expect slots to open, probably in a week or two - in time for x-mas at least. Probably not many, but a few I think for sure. I'm working pretty much this whole weekend, but probably not nearly as much as I used to. I just updated several things around my shop front and I plan on doing a bit more and making a brand new banner after I finish up with everything, along with several new ones to replace my older ones. :3 All this after I finish everything though. :3 *** Serious Joint Art Auction Coming Up *** Also! Oct. 1Oth. 2OO8. : Got through a lot more since my last update! Still have several large projects to do currently, but getting along quite well. :] Slots will probably be opening October 2Oth or so - the first time since JUNE 5th. My list of the items I'm interested in for orders is posted down in the accepted slots section so you guys know what I want. ;D As far as RL goes ; work has slowed down a good deal. :3 My work weeks have finally declined from a 5O or 6O hour work week to a steady 35-4O which is leaving me with a lot more time and energy. heart Content enough with my job to stay there for the time being, making decent money for what I do and it should pay the majority of my holiday gifts. Considering getting another job during the day but I haven't really decided for sure yet. I like sleeping then. >_>; Got a couple new ah... interests in my life though still single. Really just starting to get over personal s**t in the past - not really A-okay but working towards getting there. Sept. 7th. 2OO8. : Worked through... one thing. >: Everything else is in progress. Been working overtime every week for the last month or so. This week coming up I get -two- days off. *__________* After that, I should go back down to a 5 day work week. Also going to be looking for another job though. n____n; Currently looking at all art to be finished by the end of the month or so! :'D Past Updates August. 18th. 2OO8. : Life STILL sucks. I haven't worked through anything. :/ July. 2Oth. 2OO8. : Life sucks. Working through what I can. June. 25th. 2OO8. (1:O6am.) : Haven't quite got through everything yet. I've been working 5 days a week for awhile now so it's leaving with me not so much spare time as I would've thought. Also, lacked a lot of inspiration to finish dark vector orders though everything is currently in a WIP stage. However, I've got a bunch of new chibi samples so I'll be updating more sometime soon. :3 Also, working on getting through a few other fun projects. Recently done several more pin up style pieces. Awesome wip on pg. 573. Getting me more practice with color which I've been enjoying a lot of lately. Had two art auctions this month ; One to get more experience with the pin up style I've begun to really like. That got AB for 5OOk the first day. The other was a simple joint chibi auction with Sakura. Offered one Vector Chibi for HB, Chibi x2 or a Chibi with BG for AB. We got AB in less then 24 hours. Final bid was a ninja headband which is like, 2.1/2.2 mil now. @o@; So, with everything going on, no serious slots still will not be opened for quite some time. I'm accepting no bribe offers currently unless you want to offer 3OOk plus right now. Still have a long workload that I am slowly but surely getting through. :] Also! I've finally opened up RL commisions! I know there were people interested so I made a section on my DeviantArt Account explaining prices and details. Sorry if my prices seem a bit steep for just starting out, but I put a lot of time into my art. >: June. 4th. 2OO8. (3:33am.) : Happy 5OO pages~! 4laugh heart Re-opened more slots tonight as promised. 2 Regular Dark art slots, 1 bribe and 2 chibi slots have opened. First time slots have opened since May 5th~ :3 There is a WIP on page 499 that would have been finished a lot sooner if my monitor wasn't ******** up. I need a new one. D; I've been getting through orders fairly quick lately, let's hope it lasts, shall we? :3 I plan on getting through all orders in shop as well as from everything else by the end of this month. I'd like to run a summer art auction (not sure if it will be solo or joint yet) so I'd very much prefer to have my workload clean come july. <3 Just so you guys know, shop name will probably be changed and I'll re-update the samples around page 6OO or so. This used to be the name of an old art request thread I had back in 2OO5 and even a doodle shop a couple years ago. Got reminded of it the other day when I was going through my old thread subscriptions/bookmarks. What does this have to do with the thread? Welllll. I've got a design/idea in my head to actually make a decent shop header. And I want all of the thread regulars to be in it ~ ninja Which means. I need outfits from several different people. Edit :: (May 6th) : Wow, slots went pretty fast even with the price raise. @O@; I'm surprised. Thanks to everyone who ordered from me, I'll try to get through things ~ whee April. 22nd. 2OO8. (Night) : Update time. :3 My workload has gone down a bit. >_>; wOO. Very close to completing lots of things, sooooooo. With any luck. . . Slots might be opening sometime soon. O_O Probably around the start of May~ :3 With the coming of opening slots also means a bit of a shop change. Shop will be changed to { V E C T O R . L O V E } sometime soon since I'm branching out more. New banner coming soon. :3 Chibi section has become permanent. I've also updated the entire dark art section and the chibi section to include even more clickable (and recent) samples. I've decreased how many slots/orders I accept. Dark art has gone from 5 to 3, chibi has gone from 3 to 2. Special is at one. Prices have been increased anywhere between double to triple original price ; depending on the section. I think this is fairly reasonable considering what the last few auctions I've been have gone for/bribe offers and the massive wave of inflation that has hit. Also, my time is limited. I've started working again, I'm hostessing at a fancy restaurant. n_n; Picking up hours here and there, shall be fulltime once summer really hits. I'm looking for another job in the meantime. ::saving back up to pay for the college semester I ditched and for an apartment:: April. 6th. 2OO8. : Life is somewhat better. That relationship I was in? Yeah, that got pretty trashed. Also ******** up my life pretty well. And... things have been... hell. To put it quite bluntly. Won't go into too many details here. But yeah. I'm attempting to be back on gaia, we'll see how that goes. My workload is quite long. More so made since I haven't been able to use my own computer in about 3 weeks now. Rather aggravating. This more or less means I haven't done anything really productive since... feb. 17th. ANYHOW. Since I am no longer in college this semester. I'll probably have more time for other things? So hopefully that long list of things I have to do will go down quickly. For all those who are still waiting on orders in my shop. You guys are still welcome to cancel the trades made to me, things will be worked on. ~~~ AFTER I do all this, I will be getting the Help for Plum charity auction thing going. I haven't forgot about it, things have just been... hectic. Feb. 17th. 2OO8 : Early Morning : Very behind on where I'd like to be and I apologize once again. @_@;;; Personal life has been... rather crazy lately. Much has come up between that and school. Working and spending some time with my family right now. Can't work on any commisions because of it. However, the one bright note - everything is a WIP and is 5O% or more complete. :'D There's also one order that's getting two different pieces because I couldn't decide which one to do. >_>;;; But that's a secret for now. ninja Anyways, I'll add a bit more later or re-organize this as I should later today. Feb. 2st. 2OO8 : Sorry for not updating recently, finally getting to it now. I think I bit off more then I can chew right now. But yeah. BIG UPDATE.So a few different sections to cover everything. Regarding commisions : I apologize greatly for all the time I've been taking so far, bribes included. I've done what , three orders or so for Jan? x_x; Having an art block with the dark art style, lack of pose ideas and huge lack of inspiration right now for it. Because of that, slots for that style will remain closed until I've finished every piece I do owe - which could take some time considering college started back up for me. I haven't forgotten any orders though, I am working on each and everyone, slowly but surely. n_n; In case people are wondering : Regular slots most likely WILL NOT be open at least for another couple weeks. I might open a special slot sometime coming up but don't count on it. I -AM- open for high bribes only. Also, hate to do it, but please expect a price increase when I do finally open regular slots on this. Sorry if it seems rude but there's several reasons. First and most importantly : I am a full-time college student and am currently attending class. Presently, I have a 3.9 average. I want to keep it that way. Next, gold and pixels really don't mean all that much to me. There's more reasons but I really don't feel the need to post them. If you really want to know, just ask me. Secondly : The joint art auction Something SWEET between Teh Eve and I got autobought for 2 million gold! <3 Very happy about this, means 1 mil gold for both Eve and I. Was a nice surprise that night. <3 Still waiting for the winner to post info though. -whee- Thirdly : My friend plumchan was hacked on Jan. 23rd. I've known her for several years now and wanted to try and do something to help. So I made a thread called Help For Plum : I'm doing a few chibi commisions as well as recruiting artists who volunteer to try and help with a massive group auction to help her get her items back. So far - 26 people have offered to help. Which is absolutely awesome. I'm hosting as well as setting up and joining in this auction for her which can be found here . I'm hoping to have the thread set up this weekend and open by Monday. Anyways, I've spent what time between classes I've had trying to catch up on things as well as run this thread. Jan. 17. 2OO8 : Okay so, you guys should still go check out that art auction me and Evey are having. And you know. Give us a sexy bump or bid or something rad like that? ;D HB is 6OOk so I'm pretty pleased with it so far. -ninja- We've decided to let it go for a month. :3 wOO. Other then that. Just got back to the apartment a few days ago so hopefully I'll be working on orders. Mind is at a bit of an art block for dark art style. Soon as I get home too. Figures. But yeah. All orders that have been placed I will do my best to work on and complete - they'll probably be way out of order, very sorry for the time taken so far. ._.; On the downside too. College starts back up VERY SOON so I'll have even less time to do things. @____@;;; Jan. 9th. 2OO8 : Currently can't complete any orders (back to spend more time with my family before college starts back up). @__@;; Probably go back home after the weekend. Which fits me pretty well since I like gore and blood and all that good stuff when it's in the movies. Few updates~ Shop is going through a bit of a re-vamp. :3 I'm adding in a few section including an art for me/my character and details as well as my art whole collection. <3 Those will hopefully be completed fairly soon. Also, on Thursday night I'll be able to start working on art again! Since I know that, I am OPENING UP SLOTS TODAY. :'D However, I'm only accepting certain items per slot. I happened to miss getting them while they were in the cash shop and I want them. D; Please keep in mind those orders will most likely be completed after my current pending orders. ^^' December 16th O7-Early Jan O8 : Spending time with my family and then... VACATION. I'M GOING TO DISNEY~ Obviously... no shop orders completed during this time. >: December 11th O7 : Alrighty~ In a bit of a time crunch here. I am going away on vacation to Flordia - DISNEY BABY - from the 2Oth to the 29th. I'll also be leaving my apartment a few days in advance before. That means I will not be able to do any art past that point until O8. With that said, I am going to do my very best to finish up every single art order before I leave. I do have college finals this week though so... we'll see how it goes. On a good note, the art auction I started on the 4th got AB'd for 15Ok~ Proceeds go to Peepy. <3 December 4th O7 : I've decided not to accept anymore offers, (unless you have a extreme bribe or something) for the time being. Finals are coming up for me this semester at college and I'd like to finish all the orders I currently have on board. Also, I'm selling some bunny slippers and having an art auction here if anyone is interested. :3 December 1st O7 : First off, thanks so everyone who's keeping the shop alive~ I'm pretty surprised there's been so much response to my shop. There's been quite a few orders so thanks to everyone who's been interested. ^__^ November 20th 'O7 : Already finished 5 orders since the shop was made. :] Think that's pretty nifty so far. ;D Just want to say though that I highly doubt any more orders will be completed until Monday or so unless I have time to get one or two done before Thursday. n___n; On Thursday I'm going to spend time with my 'rents for Thanksgiving and spend a few days down there. <3 While this is the case, I won't be back to my apartment until Sunday so I really can't do any art til then. ^^; Hope this isn't a problem for anyone and if you -really- need/want art done before then, let me know asap? n____n;;; On another note, entering an art contest and trying out a couple different styles. I may end up offering them here under the special section if I get time to do so.
