I'd have to say that I really didn't do any serious CGing until maybe 2004...I did a little before that, but as I look through my folders on my HD the 04' folder has a ton of work in it!

I think one of the important thing to remember about skin is that there is a lot of color in skin. If you look at your own hands you can see how your fingertips are probably a bit rosy, and the shadows may even look a brownish purple...well depending on the light. Anyway getting back on track, a lot of people color skin by just going a shade darker of the base tone. This is a bad idea, instead when you seek your shadows, look for a cooler fleshy tone, like maybe something with a little pink or purple in it, and stay away from anything with too much black in it because black will only dull things. Does the program you use have a color wheel for your color selector?

er.. ur art is well done and everything but.. its a bit pricey.. like cmon, 25k?

I usually use Painter to color, but I use CS2 to do Patches. I have seen people do awesome things in CS2 with color, but I haven't used Photoshop for coloring in so long that I feel all lost again! xd
