lol, and you have expensive stuff in it from the looks.
yea both are exhausting...but thankfully its mum that finds the house.
but at least where we're hoping to move will be more centralised.
So less time to get to work and all that kinda stuff.

not really...i just was a member a few years ago when this stuff was first coming out/was kinda cheep...(plus this is all i've really got on this account...lol...) they still hadn't had a lot of the shops/characters that they do now, and you couldn't make your avi sit or turn around, etc...

that's good! it's always nice to be close to where you need to be for the bulk of the day...(i'm looking forward to being able to walk to campus again from my new apartment...my current apartment is close, but it's easier to catch the campus bus instead of walk.)

ah cool, yea well since its the rail its quicker.
i was talking to mum and im not sure if im closer by car or not XD
but oh well, im just looking forward to not taking 40 mins to/back from work

hi all! well, i finally updated-ish the front page...i'll probably go back and do some more work to it eventually, but it's how it is for the time being...i've been back in my apartment for the past few days, but i've been so worn out/busy that i haven't been able to post much...on my way back, i decided that driving through roughly 10 hours of rain/cloudy weather is not fun...there were some parts of the trip back where the rain was so hard, i could only really see splotches of color...(so i felt unsafe even going 55 on the highway...) but i made it back safely then went to see Harry Potter with a couple of my friends...

(no spoilers!) i think my main complaint about the movie is that you either have to have read the book recently, or memorized the story/what happens so that you don't get lost during the movie. they leave out so many little things that end up making the movie a bit disjointed...otherwise, the effects were cool and the movie was relatively entertaining overall.

anyway, i apologize for my long absence...i hope everyone's been doing well! i'll talk to you all later!

Kimmi: that's good that you at least have some kind of good public transportation though! ^_^ long commutes in general are a bummer, but cars can be such a hastle. i had about a 45 min. commute for one class my freshman year because i was on two campuses and working, so once i got onto the one campus i could actually walk everywhere, but i hated the commute through traffic, then having to find a parking spot (which i had to pay for or i would have been towed) while i had to do it. -_-

yea, but its money and hopefully i'll move somewhere that i can catch the train and its quicker

T.T my pop is in hospital in emergency atm... hes got fluid on his lungs, cant breathe properly, phemonia and went into cartiac arrest

yeah, but either way you spend money because you have to pay for gas too...

oh no! i sincerely hope that he gets better soon! i wish there were something i could do...

yea and the money for parking...and wear/tear on the car etc etc...

yea i hope so too...i saw him today and he doesnt seem too bad.
but of course pneumonia/shortness of breath is like serious and all that
but he seems like he might be okay.

i have officially died and fallen off the edge of the earth...fortunately for you, though, i got caught in the gravitational pull...so after orbiting around a bit, i've returned!...now i'm having a hard time finding a job seeing as i'm a charred zombie...and i still have to clean my apartment/get ready to move...*sob*...(i don't think i've drawn for the past few days...and i definitely haven't really picked up my tablet to draw in the last few months! *sob*...i hope i'm still decent...)

anyway, i apologize for not being around much...(though it looks like i haven't missed much...) i've just been running around all summer like a chicken with it's head cut off...at this point, i'm completely moved out of my parent's old house and it's definitely weird not really having a solid place to live/call home...in my parents new house, i don't have a room of my own, and i don't plan on being in my next apartment for even a year...(i want to go to Japan in march...) so after that, i really have no solid place to call my own...i'm hoping to be in California, Hawaii, or Japan after i graduate, but knowing me, i'll probably end up somewhere else completely unexpected...like France... O_O

well, i hope everything's been going well for everyone else. i'll talk to you all later!

Kimmi: how's your dad doing? has he bounced back from his pneumonia? i sincerely hope everything's been going alright with your move and all that too...

and i know this is unrelated...but for some reason i keep forgetting that you're having winter right now while i'm having summer...lol...how's the weather going?

hi again all...i just got back from seeing the movie Ponyo with a few of my friends. i'm a huge fan of Miyazaki's work, and i truely enjoyed seeing this film...much like all of his pieces, it's beautifully animated! i especially loved what they did with the water throughout the movie and the overall treatment of it. plot-wise, it's a lot simpler/straight forward than the last two films (Spirited Away, and Howl's Moving Castle), but if you enjoy some of the more light-hearted Ghibli films, then you will most likely enjoy this. it was really sweet, silly, and just plain fun to watch. even if you don't like the movie, it's really great just looking at all the love and work that went into the hand-drawn animation.

i think my main complaint about it would be that i wish there was a little more depth to it, but then again much could be lost in translation both linguisticly and culturally. (i can't wait to watch it in Japanese, though, to see if i can pick up something that i missed the first time i watched it... ^_^ ) but again, overall i really liked it. (it is possible that i'm a little biased however...lol...) i think that if you're in a bad mood or feeling down and want to watch something, you should go see this, and it'll be a nice pick-me-up. ^_^

well, sorry to go off on my movie rant. if you guys see it, let me know what you think! also, have you seen any good movies this summer? (either in theaters or rented.) if so, let me know about them! ^_^

mata ne!

lol, it was my pop. dad's dad that had phemonia (or however you spell it) and hes mostly okay now as far as i know. no further problems.

We havent moved yet but we've found a place. we have another 3 weeks before moving. we move around my birthday -sighs- signing lease on the 4th (my bday) and we start moving that weekend.

lol, yes wiiiiiiiiinter. and that sounds like a nice movie. I really loved Howls moving castle.

Ooh...well, i'm glad that he's feeling better! ^_^ i know what it's like to feel worried about a loved one when they're sick...

that's good! finding a place is the first step...lol...but that sucks that your settling everything/moving during your birthday...(but hey, technically, you have a new house as a birthday present though! lol...)

lol...Howl's was really good, but i think my favorite Miyazaki film is still (and will always be) Princess Mononoke. it's the first film of his that i saw, and it's just really beautifully done. the story is just as rich as the style, so i really enjoy it...(sorry for the tacky-ness)

And it's the end of my world once again
And things are never gonna change when I die
As the circle comes to an end in my room
And everything stays the same outside
my birthday on the 4th!

>.> and we're moving that weekend... 5-6th...
so im taking a little time off work for unpacking n stuff

hi all...sorry for not being around...i was working on getting myself moved...and today was the final push! >_< *tired*...i had to do one run from my previous apartment to my current one early this morning, clean the fridge, my bathroom, and table tops in my old apartment, re-load my car, and now i'm just trying to settle in(/get everything that i had previously shoved into the closet out of it...)...so in the past 2 days i've managed to make about 5 runs with my little VW Beetle to get everything here, and then i climb to the 3rd floor with all my stuff each time...(it doesn't help that i'm A) a pack-rat and B) i inherited a lot of stuff from the big move/what my roommates left behind...lol...*sigh*) anyway, i hope that all is well with you guys!

Luna: hey Luna! long time no see! how are things going? i took a look at your contest thread, and it looks interesting...(though i'm not too sure if i can enter or not...*sob*...)

Kimmi: that stinks...moving is definitely no fun...but at least you're able to take a few days off of work! ^_^ i think that the packing/cleaning/moving itself is the hardest part, but settling in is much easier...especially if you're fairly familiar with where things are packed...(i recommend labeling really well...) anyway i wish you the best of luck with the move! >_< (especially if it's snowy and such...)

nah, no snow...ive seen snow like...once.

and yea at least i get some days off. its mostly the unpacking
thankfully mum's done most of the actual packing XD

Proof that its okay to call guys cute *dances* XD
