I have two sets of couples that I'd really, really, really like to get art of. So please consider drawing them. Just one or both sets!
This thread is looking for couple art. If you would like to draw just Zivek or just Desna (which are my characters) by themselves you can make an offer for that, too. Or you can head over to my other art request located here.
Please know that I'm not looking for individual artwork of Kitsune or Nevermore, which are characters that belong to a friend. These characters have to be drawn with their respective mate.

When you post to offer to draw for me please have samples and prices! So tell me how much you charge for headshots, 1/2 body, fullbody, black & white, colored, CG, traditional, etc etc.
Also let me know which couple you'd be willing to draw.
For ideas of what to draw please check out the post just below this one. Know that you do not have to use any ideas and can draw whatever so long as they fit the characters and are appropriate for Gaia.
1. I will only pay artists I commissioned. Do not just draw me art without talking to me first and expect payment. I may tip you for giftart, but for guaranteed payment you must have been commissioned by me.
2. All trades will remain pending until after I receive the art. I will complete the trade upon delivery.
3. Do not post links to art shops unless there are open slots.
4. Do not get upset if I choose not to commission you. I tend to be picky about the art I want. It does not mean your art sucks. Your art just isn't what I'm looking for at the moment. Plus, unfortunately, I don't have the money to commission everyone. ^^;
5. I will cancel trades if you disappear for longer than a month. If I commission you please keep in contact with me. Let me know you are still working on it or if something major has happened that has prevented you from finishing the commission. I will be more than happy to give you an extension and continue waiting. ^_^ However, if you just up and disappear, then I can only assume that you are not working on it and have no intention of delivering anything to me. If you are an artist that thinks your artwork will take longer than a month to complete, please inform me before I commission you. I am very willing to work with you and am very patient.
6. Please do not ask me to name a price for your art. I'm terrible at that. Please, please, please tell me what you want to be paid for your work.
7. Do not get upset if I don't respond to your offer immediately. I may take a time to answer. I don't mean to ignore you, I just do a lot of other things on Gaia and have stuff to do IRL, and some things take priority to a commission thread. ^^;
8. I don't do real life (RL) commissions. I have plenty of Gaia gold and valuable items to trade, but not so much when it comes to real money. That stuff needs to go towards, you know, real food and not freezing to death on the streets. This thread is really just for commissions using Gaia gold. Please consider doing Gaia gold or item commissions.
9. Do not break Gaia's Terms of Service or any other rules for the website.
10. No drama! Chatting is most welcome, but leave any drama for another thread.
Here are some drawing ideas for the couples. If you have an idea for a picture you are most welcome to pitch it to me. You are not obligated or expected to draw the following ideas. Simple drawings of the couples are just fine.
Zivek & Kitsune:
- Kitsune looking for some affection and Zivek avoiding/running or trying to pry her off
- Zivek "protecting" Kitsune from spiders, which she fears (just little spiders)
- Kitsune trying to get Zivek near the water at a beach (Zivek is paranoid of deep and wide bodies of water like the ocean. He also can't swim)
- The two together at the beach doing other activities (building sandcastle, eating something)
- The two playing chess together
- The two dancing together
- The two attending a Halloween party (if you are interested in this ask and I can give costume ideas)
- The two getting married
- The two sparring together
- The two relaxing in a hot bath/hotspring/fancy bathhouse together

The first couple is Zivek and Kitsune. Zivek is my OC while Kitsune is the OC of a friend. To describe their relationship... think of it as the immovable object meets the unstoppable force. They are definitely an odd couple with a lot of dysfunction, but they still stick together.
Among the oddities in their relationship is Zivek's dislike of unnecessary touching and affection. He likes his space. His wife/mate... not so much. And loves invading that space when she can. So while Kitsune will be hugging his arm, Zivek will be attempting to shake her off. While there is this problem in their relationship, they do feel strongly for the other. Emotions don't come easy to Zivek and he struggles with them, but he does truly care about Kitsune. Both will protect the other with everything they have. Even if it kills them.
Below is couple art examples, and below that are profiles for each character along with individual art examples to work off of. You do not have to read the full profile(s). But I would suggest at least looking at the Defining Features/Characteristics section in the profile is an important bit of reading.

When you draw Kitsune and Zivek together you can also include a tiny bat anywhere in the picture. The bat started out as a pet, but has become a very important family member to them and is often seen with them. Mostly hanging around Zivek's shoulder or on top of his head or taking rides in Kitsune's hair or cleavage. XD Unless the couple is fighting.
Age: Unknown, but definitely old. Looks between her late twenties/early thirties Height: 5' 7" Appearance: Kitsune has more than one form as her character has changed over the years. An earlier version has her with straight, dark black hair that stopped around her knees, with black fur on her ears and tails. Her skin is tan with the cheek markings. She also sported dark horns atop her head with one yellow/amber eye and a red eye. She also wore darker clothes and assumed more monstrous forms at times.
Her more recent form is an attractive woman with tanned skin, tapered claws, amber vulpine eyes ringed in black (the scleras are sometimes dark like a fox's), and the burgundy cheek markings of her clan. Her hair is black with splashes of silver and falls to to the back of her knees and her long bangs are parted down the middle and sweep to either side of her face in two curled tiers. A layer of short hair rings the back of her head and are combed up in a row of half curls. She has pierced vulpine ears at the top of her head and though she has nine tails, she only has one that's visible--if she chooses to show any at all. Her fur has turned the shimmering silver of one of her status with black spots and points. Clothing-wise Kitsune typically wears long kimono (in the off-the-shoulder style) with corsets instead of traditional obi and a red and white shimenawa decorated with a large gold bell and thick tassel in the front tied around her waist. She also wears loose-fitting decorative tunic tops and short kimono (or shirts with long bell sleeves) over dark-colored capri/crew cut pants as more casual outfits. Slippers or sandals are her favored footwear if she cannot go barefooted Personality: Kitsune is a determined individual who doesn't like to be told what to do and has no problem with letting people know this. She has fallen back into her old ways of being pessimistic and paranoid, but has not yet become a total Fatalist. If there is some way to prevent bad things from happening to her or to those around her, she will actively try to change the outcome. Defining features/characteristics: In any picture with Kitsune she must have fox ears and tail (either just 1 tail, or all 9 tails). She must also have the cheek markings.

Age: Unknown, but he's really old. H looks to be around his late 20's to early 30's. Height: 6'3" Appearance: Zivek has fiery red hair with light blue, which glow a little. Because he is married he has a wedding ring. He also has a mark on his neck that looks like >this<. His hair can be drawn anywhere between his waist and around his knees. As his hair grew out he was given a wedding present from Kitsune that ties back his hair. Example. Build Description: Along with being quite tall, Zivek is well built and muscular. He is not huge, like some body builder, but he does have muscles (don't let that turn you off, since he wears baggy clothes and you won't have to draw any muscles unless you take his shirt off). Personality: On first meeting you would think he was proud, arrogant, stubborn, self-absorbed, selfish, a jerk, and a complete b*****d. One would be pretty spot on with that. He is/was a villain, after all. However, since the time he started living with his mate, Kitsune, he has begun to change little by little. He won't admit that, though, and would probably hit you for saying it. He still wants everyone to believe he's the fearsome warrior and uncaring b*****d most know him as. He hasn't become a saint, but he isn't running around killing everyone and causing misery or havoc anymore. ... intentionally, anyway. >_>; While his younger brother Gren likes to annoy people, Zivek loves to scare people and intimidate. Defining features/characteristics: Zivek rarely smiles. When he does smile it is because he is doing something evil and enjoying it or laughing at someones misery. Though, there are rare moments when he will smile, which comes from happiness and not something evil (Kitsune likes finding things that can make it happen). So do not draw Zivek smiling unless you clear it with me first. His expressions are usually stoic, irritated, frustrated, angry, or bored.
Sometimes Zivek is depicted with fox features. This is an option for artists. They can draw him with fox features, or they can draw him with his normal pointed ears.

The other couple is Desna and Nevermore. Desna is my OC while Nevermore (or more often referred to as Neve) belongs to a friend. To describe their relationship, I would say it is like two magnets. Good luck prying them apart. Or being the unfortunate victim that stands between them. There is also the opposites attract element between them, too.
Unlike Zivek and Kitsune, Desna and Nevermore are very loving and affectionate. They are supportive of the other and no one doubts their love for the other. There is a bit of conflict between personalities, though. Desna is more outgoing and adventurous. She can be reckless at times, hot-tempered, and does not like being held back or limited by others. Drinking and bladed weapons are some of her favorite things. Nevermore, on the other hand, is more reserved and serious. He thinks rationally about things and rarely lets his emotions get the better of him. But while the two are different, those differences have also helped each in turn. Desna has become a bit tamer and rational, while Nevemore has begun to come out of his shell and enjoy life.

Age: 60 years old, but she looks like she's in her mid 20's Height: 5'7" Appearance: Desna has more than one form. Her base appearance is that of a woman in her mid-20s with blonde hair that falls to her waist and light blue eyes (the pupil is lighter, looking more like a darker shade of blue than black). She is also pale, though not sickly looking. In her first form she has a slimmer body with blonde hair, light blue eyes, and pierced pointed ears. She does have a feminine form, but she isn't all that curvy. It is more akin to a female athlete's body.
In her second form she looks about the same age with blonde hair that falls closer to her knees and light blue eyes, but they look more vulpine. She can either have pointed ears or two fox ears, but they must have the same piercings. There are two small stripe markings on her cheek (while guide shows gold, they are actually a dark brown to black in color). Her skin isn't quite as pale as before now that she's getting more sun. Her body shape has also changed. It is curvier, with fuller hips and chest. Though, she is exercising to get back her toned muscles.
Desna sometimes has white feathered wings so she can go flying with Nevermore.
As for clothes, you can go with the standard outfit that she is most often drawn with. But you can also draw her in other things, especially since these pictures will show her with Neve. She has opened up a little and will dress up for him. Though, nothing especially girly. Personality: Most people would describe Desna as a tough, stubborn, and hot-tempered knife fanaticenthusiast. Which isn't far from the truth. But that is just the persona that people who don't know her well usually see. Desna is private person and keeps her problems to herself. She does not like to talk about her past to anyone. She is often hesitant to discuss her feelings or even express the sad and lonely emotions she holds inside. Instead she puts on a tough face and carries on as if things are fine. She is very loyal to the people she considers friends. Whenever a friend needs help she is always willing to assist in any way she can. If one is being bullied she will stand in their corner and fight/defend. If they need a shoulder she'll offer it, though tears make her uncomfortable. Desna, however, refuses any kind of help and lies often to keep her friends from worrying about her.
Thanks to the way she was brought up, Desna is quite a tomboy, preferring and more comfortable with masculine things. She rarely shows a feminine side except to those she considers her friends. One would still have a fight on their hands if they tried to get her to wear a dress. Because of the abuses she received while growing up she has very low self-esteem and has trouble accepting/believing compliments given to her. If men show interest she would sooner believe they have a ulterior motive than a sincere interest in her. Until she met Nevermore... Defining features/characteristics: In any of her versions, Desna must have her blonde hair and blue eyes (though, up-close eye details vary between forms). She must also have her two sets of small, gold, and hooped earrings. These cannot be forgotten or changed. In her first form she must have pointed ears. In her second form she can either have pointed ears or gold furred fox ears. And she must have 1 or 3 tails (just 1 or 3, not 2). The tails must also have the faint markings seen in in this drawing and the fox form guide drawing. She needs to also have the cheek markings. In either form you can choose to have Desna drawn with a gold armlet with red gem adorning it or with a gold neck choker with the same red gem set on the front. This I will leave optional, though. And if you draw a married Desna she will have a gold ring on her finger and a small black feather tattoo on her neck.

Unfortunately we do not have that much in the way of art of Nevermore. Hopefully we'll get more soon.
NEVERMORE(full profile under spoiler)
Age: Unknown, appears to be in his late 20s, early 30s Height: 6' 2" Appearance: A tall, stately man with an unassuming physique; he is well built and strong, but rarely shows it off due to his habit of dressing in suits. He has a pale complexion with chiseled features and is rarely seen with anything but a slight frown of indifference on his face. The majority of his coal black hair stops about mid-thigh and is always worn back in a low-set ponytail behind his back with a few long sections hanging loose in front of his shoulders. The bangs are parted to hang on either side of his forehead for an almost unobstructed view of his dark-colored eyes. Normally they are as dark as his hair, but there are moments when a rich shade of red or a smoldering orange seeps into their depths to give him an almost feral appearance. Know that he is meticulous about his appearance, from his clothes to his grooming. Nevermore has also started to wear a white feather in his hair, usually attached to whatever is holding his hair back in its pony-tail. He also has a ring on his finger (if you draw him after his marriage to Desna) and a small mark on his neck that looks like Desna's fox tail markings. As a crow demon, Neve can also grow black feathered wings from his back. Personality: Cool and calculating, he almost never shows his emotions even under great physical and mental stress. He is a picture of complete indifference and serves as the voice of reason when everyone else around him is caught up in the goings-on around them and can't think clearly for themselves. You might even consider him boring. His inability to show emotions is also one of his greatest faults. It's almost impossible to tell what he's thinking and few ever realize the crow is not a machine and has his moments of doubt, too. This generally leaves him alone with the task of trying to understand and work through unexplored feelings; a difficult task when one does not completely understand the emotions themselves. All in all, he is courteous, civil, mindful of his words and actions, and is prone to chivalrous behavior. Defining features/characteristics: As stated, Nevermore rarely shows emotion to anyone. Only Desna sees other sides to him, but he is still very reserved even with her. So he is not an expressive character, but he does still have emotions. Even if he does try to suppress or hide them. You can draw him doing something like smiling softly/gently at Desna, but he would not have a wide smile or grin. You can show him frowning slightly in disapproval at Desna's excessive drinking, but not a full on frown. If you need more guidance on Neve's emotions, just ask. Anyway, Neve's stoicism is a major character trait. If drawn after marrying Desna, Neve must have a small mark/tattoo (that resembles the marks on Desna's fox tails) on his neck and the ring on his finger.
