Jasmine is the fire and Marcus is the ice...literally.

When they met via Marcus crashing onto a roof trying to hang-glide around Manhattan, Jasmine knew she wanted to be friends with him. They were best bros for the majority of the game thus far, their relationship being filled with puns, innuendo, and bad pick-up lines as well as teaming up to do potentially dangerous things. They hung out all the time, including time spent in the hospital together. They accidentally destroyed Coney Island in a combined effort.
Jasmine has had a massive crush on Marcus for a good portion of their time as bros, and apparently Marcus had some pretty strong feelings for her as well, seeing as he finally confessed them to her one night. Acknowledging and reciprocating those feelings, the next day they were going out. They apparently like each other enough to have been going on dates that don't involve the destruction of public property. Also, he's been staying over her apartment a lot, sleeping on the floor, while her father overspices Marcus' food in silent revenge. Her parents pretty much loathe him.
AND SO:
Their relationship is mostly pretty fluffy, while Marcus continues with his innuendo and terrible flirting. She thinks he's adorable and hilarious and fun, and he's given her no reason to doubt that he's serious about this.
However, beyond the fluff remains a pretty strong bromance! They continue to be best friends while also being a romantic couple.
Jasmine trusts Marcus with her life, and adores him to no end.
(Although due to recent developments, her trust is now tainted with a touch of fear, being that Marcus' lack of control over his powers has caused her accidental physical harm.)

Some more refs for Jasmine: This is my favorite outfit/hairstyle combination, a more tomboyish look, with swatches and hair length, Jasmine doesn't know parkour, CANON he gives her his hoodie ALL THE TIME to cover up blood and grievous wounds ofc, I swear this girl has more outfits than any of my other characters, yo she also has this EPIC ********' SCAR also this is a good body type reference, so this is a thing that actually happened in the game
Please note!:
- Jasmine is half-black, half-Chinese, with almond-shaped brown eyes and long, straight black hair. Marcus is a white kid with black hair and tanned skin, the latter being a result of the elements, not genetics, and ubiquitous stubble.
Jasmine's scar should be kept hidden due to its severity, but if her stomach was showing in a more private setting, please remember the scar! It's made of galvanized steel. The scar, unlike in the reference, meshes with the flesh at the edges in a more knitted way. She also has a new scar along her right forearm that looks like frostbite. Because it is frostbite.
Marcus is covered in scars. He keeps almost all of them hidden, besides his face; he has a large gash-scar on his upper right forehead, which he usually hides under his hair, and a vertical cut across his lips on the right side. If you were to show his arms, there is a whole set of things I have to tell you in detail since I never drew it properly. ALSO his nose is all ******** up from being roughly broken in the past.
Also, Marcus only has ONE HAND. The other was amputated halfway down the forearm, and has been replaced by a hook, which can also be a hoop, as shown. Don't give him a left hand! (note: Jasmine gave him a robotic hand, so if you MUST you can just draw two hands and no hook)
Neither outfit is static, though Marcus is unlikely to change much. Jasmine's outfit is completely open to interpretation, as long as you keep this in mind: her favorite color is green, and prefers long pants/shorts with leggings, casual shirts, and sneakers. She likes muted or earthy colors, nothing too neon or saturated. Marcus usually wears orange hoodies and track pants, as well as sneakers good for parkour/free-running.
Jasmine is naturally pretty, not bangin' hot or gorgeous or anything. She doesn't wear makeup and only pays much attention to her hair, her favorite asset. Marcus is not pretty at all. He's not a bishonen or a prettyboy or even really that cute. He's kind of rough around the edges and only really started caring about his appearance after meeting Jasmine.
As stated earlier, Jasmine has the power to create and control fire, and Marcus has the ability to create and control frost or ice.
