It's snowing here...
Thymen: Why are you making a big deal out of it? Just because someone claims to be known, doesn't mean they're being condescending.
I can freely make claims of being known around the Art Contests forum, but does that make me a snob? It simply means "I hang out in that forum a lot, so a lot of people have seen me." That's all that is. It doesn't necessarily mean "you're a n00b if you don't know me," "I'm better than you," or anything of that sort.
And even if I made claims of being beautiful or whatever? What's the big deal? As long as I don't go around rubbing it in everyone's face, I'm not seeing the problem. Are people not allowed to be honest about their good (or even neutral, in case of being known) traits?
I wish to maintain a friendly atmosphere in here. While everyone is welcome to step in and say something when there's a serious disturbance, what you're doing is... not the right way to do it. Don't jump in and start being openly negative when you sense the beginning of a problem looming on the horizon. Don't make assumptions. Wait til they're obviously making others uncomfortable.
