@ Kovu - yes,yes. as the legend tells, The Brocolli and Cauliflower were cousins and grew up together. they were very close. because both were originally another color. noone is sure what color they were, maybe blue, maybe red. but as the story goes. The Brocolli was better at sports and the cauliflower better at schoolwork. Cauliflower was a bit of a braggart about it's grades and used to get much attention. at this Brocolli began to grow resentment and envy for Cauliflower. as the two would spend much time together cauliflower started to notice changes in Brocolli as it took on a more greenish hue. beginning to figure out what was going out, as cauliflower was clever, it began to fear for it's safety. so much fear that it turned white and fled. with cauliflower white and Brocolli green now they are locked in an eternal struggle until they can resolve their differences. oh, if only they could be brought together and talk, they might showtu us their true colors.

A bit about myself (optional reading):
I'm currently a student, and will be back in school this September.
Elementary + middle school mandatory art class and Gr 10 art (credit to graduate) are all of what I've taken in terms of art classes. What I'm in for now, doesn't revolve too much around the subject xD;; OTL
I'm practically self taught in digital colouring, and I have a lot more to learn, should I choose to do so.
I have a tendency to download and try out free art programs (broke Dx)
>>gimp, paint.net, inkscape, open canvas (the rly old version), twisted brush open studio, mypaint, deep paint, nekopaint (i think i mightve gotten the name wrong), and some other ones that i can't quite recall...
The ones I currently have/use are: gimp, paint.net, mspaint, and mypaint
If you're looking for a program to try out, I'd suggest those ones, or sumopaint.com which does not require downloading and is accessible by any computer which can connect to the internet

I'm also not that new to the AF forum. My earliest semi-joint thread was created late into 2006, but I've had other threads prior to that. I've also had threads created solely to draw original characters.

Samples, err, it's really all experimental, since my non-existent style is dependent upon the program I use and whether it's drawn on my laptop or by pencil. If you're interested in seeing them, I'd suggest looking around the first two pages, or directly asking me.

Okai, so here's the deal, I will in fact be selective in choosing whom ill be doing these art trades with which will mean these will most likely be quality-driven pieces, I hope.
For the meantime I'm going to say that you can choose which style/program you prefer me to use.
Please note that I will NOT be doing any vector-type trades.

These will commence in late june or beginning of july.
I will be posting up samples then.
Okay, so I'm going to be opening up one slot but it's going to be up to you whether or not to trust me on the quality seeing as I have yet to post any samples (however, I can give you an idea on how I might colour pending on the program. programs that i will most likely use for colouring are: gimp and paint.NET)
