Check out the end of my Update on 2/4/12 to submit a short story that could be turned into a comic!
Hello citizens of gaia! It's been a while since I've even logged on, so I thought I would check it out again and see if I could get some inspiration from the community. Thus this "shop."
Because these things are freebies, I'll pretty much do the style that will work best for the image I'm doing. So I reserve the right to draw something in "manga/anime" style, black&white, dual tone, etc. if I think it will work best for the image/be fun or challenging to draw.

Basically I'm looking for something interesting/fun to draw in addition to a couple concepts I've had floating around my head. Plus, I really need some practice and some ideas that I can possibly include into my portfolio. (So there's a high possibility of high quality work...)
Dos: Just about anything so long as it conforms to the GaiaOnline TOS as well as isn't X-rated.
(I don't generally have a problem with nudity...just keep in mind I'm trying to make pieces that I can include in my portfolio to try and find work...)

I'm not planning on PMing completed images because I send out a bunch of updates on the thread, so it's up to you to check in. I will put the completed piece in one of the following posts. I will also be posting who I'm currently considering, so if you don't see your name on that list within a few days, it's a good bet I either missed your post, or I didn't pick you. Please don't be mad if I don't draw yours, I just have limited time, and a relatively short attention span, so I don't want to promise to do more than what I can do... (^_^);
I welcome any and all constructive criticism and general discussion on the thread! (I'd much rather have lively discussion going on instead of bumps...) I'm also open to art trades and donations/tips.
NOTE: Because I've been getting quite a few people who are just posting "can you draw me?," that's fine, I just strongly recommend that you stick around and talk with me or others who are around so that I get a sense of who you are...Also, I am literate, so if you want an OC, I'd almost prefer if you tell me a bit about them instead of just posting a reference picture...This is just so that the image I do for you is more unique/consistent to the character. (For instance, if your character is afraid of heights, I wouldn't want to draw them flying around happily because they would most likely be slightly terrified...This is an exaggeration, but you get the idea...) Also, I'm more likely to get excited about an image, and the more excited I am, the better the image will turn out. *hint hint*...Also, keep in mind, I do have a life/am busy sometimes, so you'll have to wait a little bit if my "considering list" is a little long...
NOTE 2: I'm going to start ignoring people who are just posting "me"/"could you do me?"/"what about this?" or any other variation of that unless their avatar/OC is exceptionally interesting...I'm getting tired of explaining the above thing over and over again...And, it's showing that you're not reading...If you've made it down this far, and you'd like to place a request then please include the word "Yojimbo" in red letters to show you've actually read...You'll slightly endear yourself to me if you do and will most likely be put on my Considering List unless I'm too busy...Thanks!
