Uhm, not really a story. Just the character/species thing, and even then...mostly half formed thoughts. Some details I posted to Goat above. My 'nether-beings' azerels have more of a history than Dust here.

Uh, this is all I got, unfortunately. Apologies for even older art ^ ^'' The azerel is in desperate need of a redesign. But, pretty much...my nether-beings aren't fully physical, and feed off of souls for lack of a proper soul themselves. I'd imagine azerels being fairly numerous in this in-between, while creatures such as Dust are somewhat more dispersed, and not quite as...singularly hungry. Haven't given them much thought lately, hah.

it's kinda funny how she came by her hairstyle -- i originally had it as a longer bob, but someone drew it shorter and funner and i was like WOW why didn't i think of that

And it IS funny how stuff like that just sometimes happens and HITS you right in the face.

It's a little like drawing avi-art and only then getting how some items work,
or what they're even supposed to be.
I didn't even know this jacket had a really elaborate back-design until
Goaty asked me about it yesterday.
Or that one of the holograms has a tiny seahorse on it.
