This is a free art request thread/hangout thread for myself and three of my friends. =3 If you're an artist have a look around and see if anything inspires you. ^^ If you're like us and can't draw to save your life, we'd be happy to have some conversation while trying to keep this request thread alive.
There're no order forms or acceptance letters, it's just you drawing us and us being grateful. ^^ Everything is accepted, and we will say thank you. There's also a chance at tipping, so stick around and try us out. ;3

Here's a little something to make the thread run a tad smoother. Read these over before posting and there's less likelihood of you making a boo boo, and that means we don't have to get pissy with anyone. n.n

Follow the ToS(duh).
Be nice. Simplest rule ever, but it's a biggy. We can be pretty nasty should we find you are being rude.
Don't quote the first page. >> That gets annoying quick.
Don't stretch the page.
Please don't automatically expect or demand a tip. The reason this is in the freebies is because we aren't able to afford our art habits. ><
You don't have to post that you are going to draw one of us but it would be appreciated. A surprise is always nice, but we would like to know if we should set aside some gold to tip you(if possible).
Feel free to hang around even if you aren't going to draw us. We'd enjoy the company. :3

Hey, I'm Mormon, it's my nickname in real life as well as here on Gaia. I only joined about a month ago; my friends have been on the site forever and finally managed to drag me to it and start an account. I'm just a fun loving college student who hates homework. biggrin I haven't recieved much art but I really do love the idea of starting my own collection. I can't think of much else to say right now, so I'll add more in the future. =)

Well, not much to say. I'm a total and complete art whore, so I got the idea to start a request thread. Unfortunately, I never have much gold, usually due to spending it all on art. >.> So I came to the lovely freebie section and then figured "the more the merrier" and decided to invite a few of my closest friends. =3 They love art, probably about as much as I do, though I don't think any of them have spent around 400k on it. ><
Anywho, it took me forever to set this all up, and I'm determined to keep this thread going. I hope to have some regulars in here to help, but even just the occasional bump is appreciated. <3
Oh yeah, and I tip. ;3

Well, should anyone brave drawing all of us, and actually go for drawing a complex freebie, here's a pose that would no doubt get you a large tip, at least from me. I saw this pic a while back and have always loved it.

My name is Abigal Crocket, and I like to believe I am related to Davey Crocket. I was born in the wild, since my father and mother were on safari when she had me. Don't be cofused though, since I am a U.S. citizen still. I have three cats, and I named them Jebodiah, Tom Sawyer, and Superman.
But, for real? I'm Foam. That's what Mir calls me anywho, I guess you can call me whatever you like, as long as it isn't mean. Not much to say about me, I'm a bit crazy, loud, obnoxious and way too nice. I like getting art, especially when it's free. Though I definitely can't say I love it as much as Mir, I'm not obsessed. I usually tip.

Well, I'm not really sure what to say here. x) Uhm, I'm an avid lover of art. <3 I started buying it a lot more once I came back to Gaia(I quit about two years ago and just came back this year ^^). I love talking with people and I tend to make friends quickly. Miracle, Foamy and I have been friends since I started Gaia and I met their friend MormonCupcake through them. ^^ Uhm, let's see...I'm happily committed to the love of my life and have been for nearly five years. <3 He unfortunately quit Gaia and never really made a come back like I did, otherwise I would so request art of us. >.<

The Luck of the Draw
So, here's the breakdown of the only contest at the moment: over the duration of one month, we will take the names of all the awesome artists who draw us for that month and pick them from a hat..or whatever we have that will substitute for a hat. >.o
Each piece of art is worth one piece of paper with your name on it, so mulitple arts get you a higher chance at winning. ;3 The prize will be a pot luck of gold from all of us, but I can tell you for sure it won't be under 10k. ^^
