User Imagelol. And cool ^^ And the factor is that minorities should get put ahead of Caucasians because there are les of them and therefore they deserve it for some stupid reason. xD But it was changed in '61, so now colleges are no longer allowed to do that.
User Image
Edit: Since '61, they have been working to remove the affirmation action.
Well, that's good, actually.
The whole rule changing thing, I mean.
>..>;

I`ll get around to reading about that eventually.
-totally multitasking-

The in-a-nutshell summary on the article I just wrote:
In 1997, Barbara Grutter applied to a Michigan University and got denied. She had a 3.8GPA and good test scores, but she was not accepted, even though people of a minority were allowed in with a lower GPA. This among many other Michigan Colleges used an affirmation action policy, allowing minority students to have a greater chance of getting into a college of their choice, regardless if someone else had better grades. The affirmative action has been under debate since 1961 and California, Washington, and Michigan have now banned it entirely from their states.

User Image*dies* now I have to write an editorial...*same thing, but with opinion*
And I'm multitasking too, while listening to A7X
User Image
Damn.
If people with lower grades are getting into colleges, while others are being turned around,
that's actually really bad.

Ouch, that's a lot of work.
-petpet-
D: Good luck with the work.
I'm here for support if you need me~!

User ImageYeah I know. ^^ And thanks! My teacher is so mean. I have 3 other classes!*gets homework from each crying * Oh well. Hey, do you draw at all?
User Image
._.
I hate it when teachers decide to give you a load of homework in one week.
It's like they've all gone and held a meeting and decided to dump everything on their students.
-waves a flag about slightly-
You can do it~!

Bahh. I could probably draw a stick figure in GIMP,
but otherwise, I doubt I could draw anything.
-otherwise doesn't have a scanner-
