OOC Recruit Thread Contestant Profiles


On the System:
★ 3 rounds per tournament & finale.
★ Opponents shall be randomly chosen.
★ Use Random Number post action to see who goes first.
★ There are goals and drawing prompts for each round.
★ Final three contestants will have to brave an obstacle course
before the final two are chosen to duke it out for a last battle.
★ Private panel of judges will determine the winner of each battle to prevent conflicts of interest.
★ Audience can vote for their favorite battle via public poll.
(This, however, does not determine the winner.)

On Battles:
★ Each battle will be given a month. Extensions will be given if necessary.
★ Minimum of 4 turns per contestant, estimated at 2-3 pages per turn but the number is up to you.
★ Remember not to go overboard and godmod.
★ You are not allowed to officially claim your opponent is dead (see: godmod).

On Disqualification:
★ Inactive contestants will automatically be disqualified.
If anyone needs to drop out, let me know immediately.
★ If you attack a contestant that is NOT your designated opponent, then you will be disqualified.
★ Each battle will be given drawing prompts. ( Ex. "Beach, seagulls, high cliffs." )
You will have to include them in your comic strips. Be creative in how you execute them.
Failure to include all prompts will result in disqualification and the win will be awarded to your opponent.
★ While two character teams are allowed, only one can physically fight.
If the other character takes part in the battle, you will be disqualified.

You stir from the depths of unconsciousness. The sounds you slowly become aware of are foreign to you. You find a strange communicator on your wrist. The screen flickers on and a voice comes through…


“Greetings, contestants. Welcome to my private island in the, er, middle of nowhere. You may be wondering about things such as why in the world are you here? What happened? Why do you have a splitting headache or maybe slight nausea when standing up? The simple answer is that you’ve been invited to join my… little game. I have scoured the world looking for the best of the best and I have found you. The migraines, upset stomach, and nausea are all just symptoms of the toxic gas we used to knock you out during the retrieval process. Don’t worry it’ll pass in an hour or so.

There are twelve fighters here, and a couple of insignificant bozos that my minions accidentally picked up along the way. The rules are simple, you shall battle each other in two player duels until only one remains. Those that refuse to fight or lose in battle will suffer severe consequences. You will find all the information you need regarding location and current opponent on your wrist communicator. Welcome to Battle Royale, ladies and gents.

The winner, also known as the champion, is invited to stay at my five-star resort for free and then will help me take over the world. *coughcough*

The crazed psycopath waves his green flag wildly.

“HAY WHUTS DAT OVER DERE?!”

You look to where he was pointing. Nothing's there. You turn back and… he’s gone! What the ******** was that…

This is your first battle setting. Welcome to the island, peeps. (Yeah, I know it sucks shut up).
The numbers on the "map" marks where the first round battles will take place. Battle numbers are marked below.
Pair up with your opponent and use Post Action > Random number > 5 - 18. Whoever gets a number closer to 8, gets to go first.

The GOAL of Round1 is to get to the two mountains. There, you will be asked to show your ID card.

The contestants will be receiving updates and news as well as locations of checkpoints and opponents on their wrist communicator (which they can't seem to take off).
