CUZ DRAWING IS FUN!

BUMP!
Because when I was a toddler I saw a picture which was of those cartoon dalmations from that old film "101 dalmations".
Anyways I thought my mum had drawn it and I decided I wanted to be as good as her.
Later on in life I found out that my mum couldn't draw to save herself and that actually my aunt had traced this drawing eek
Thats one reason I can think of but I think I've always enjoyed drawing 3nodding
Thanks for the input guys :]

i don't really know why i stared drawing...but i think it's because my art teacher in spird me to...or it's because i get bord and have nothin to do but that...so i'm going with the first one
I don't remember why I started to draw but i wanted to capture peoples faces and animals like they did in story books or when i saw a Disney movie. I use to try to draw people or side of faces. So i get better each year, mostly because i learn something new in art class. But I usually have to be in a mood to draw people. I can't draw anime, but i can draw people.
Why I started is pretty stupid...When I was 13 my family moved to a new state and I had no friends. I met a girl in one of my classes and she was drawing anime-style. I told her it was cool and I was a big fan of some shows like that, and she thought I was an artist too. So to make sure I had a friend I started drawing like mad, trying to become as good as them.

Before I knew it, I loved drawing and was doing it for my own joy rather than for my friends

I've been drawing for four years now and it's still one of my favorite hobbies

I've just always liked it, I guess. Have a lot of artist-friends. They're all really good, too.

Anyway, I suppose I've always been inspired by my artist friends, or something like that.
i actually quit drawing...so im not really answering this topic sweatdrop
I've loved drawing since I was little, but I never practiced at it much, and therefore never was actually into it until the end of 8th grade. I was thirteen at the time. My friend was talking about anime, I was like "wait... what's anime?" She whipped out a picture that she had drawn manga-style, and explained it.
Later that day I tried to draw something in that same style, failed miserably, and then as I got into anime/manga, I practiced drawing it. Two years later, I've improved pretty well, I think. At least from where I started~

it was a way to communicate my feelings. as a kid i never got angry or sad or anything other than happy because all of my negative thoughts and emotions left me as soon as the pencil hit the paper. as i got older and decided to do Art for a living... well then it got a little more complicated.

That's lame, why did you quit?
I wanted a hobby when I was young. Ended up trying all sorts of things, but drawing was the only thing to give me a sense of... achievement. I mean, it felt right, y'know? Still does. xp
Thanks for the input guys! :]
