I don't limit myself to one thing..

exactly. I don't like to stick to one style/ thing to draw. I like to experiment, I have tons of big abstract paintings and I also draw cartoons and portraits. I even tried to do anime once! for the laugh. razz

i draw mostly people and anime. i have a hard time drawing the same pic twice but i can draw a lot of different a creative pics. i dont know why but i hate having to draw the same thing. thats why i don't ever create any OCs. i can never draw them perfectly over and over. just let your inspiration and imagination flow..... out of your pen, that is.

hi my name's Tina and that's my niece, Nour. smile

I do both the characters and the landscapes. To me, pictures are boring without both.

There's a pretty wide range on the backgrounds. Less so on characters, since I tend to stick with my story characters (and settings, too, actually, but there are more of those.)

I do different things, I like doing alot of abstract stuff. Normally I use a pen.

I generally use a mechanical pencil for traditional media and photoshop and tablet for digital. I'm mostly into people and animals but there's a little of everything else too, though I'm not too fond of fanart. See DA in sig thats the easiest way of describing it.

Also about art theft the easiest counter for it is a watermark with a link to your gallery or something.

I'm new, so i want to get to know the ones that are usually on this forum and the new people as well.
I draw my own characters. I some times color them, but i really not good at it. Do you have any tips? do you need samples?

I also do little comics, involving character from metal gear games or any other kind of characters from games. I really don't know how to keep my art from being stolen, so i don't usually show my art.

What are the tools that you use?

I use a paper and a pencil.
What i color with, is the prismacolor markers and other sort of art stuff.
I don't use the computer, i don't use photoshop or use edit in photobucket, just a pencil and paper and coloring tools. biggrin

I say you're on the right start. Strengthen your traditional drawing skills using real media first. I'd be curious to see some of your work though.

As for what I use, its usually a mechanical pencil & some printer paper, but I've been bypassing it lately for drawing directly on the computer via tablet.

I draw whatever comes to mind.

b***h, what?
i draw so many things, diversity is really important for me. i also enjoy original creations/characters more than fanart.

I admire people who can draw with pens. I'm to scared of them myself, though I'd love to learn to use them without being afraid of going through eraser withdrawal.

I think most things look a lot better if you ink them without leaving them in pencil (unless they're obviously meant to be pencil drawings and you use fixitive) why not pencil the lines in first then go over them with pen? especially if you're drawing people because you can erase all the proportion guide lines.
