does anyone have any tips on how to draw like the muscle bulges in arms or chests? to make them look like there sticking out and not just a streight line??? i would really like it if you knew. thanks if you answer!

Guess you could draw the lines thicker as a cheap way to do that.

just look at referance photos to see how they bulge wink
Depending on the angle, try to make the stick out and yes darker/thicker lines do help to make them look 'bulgier' razz

when your drawing the arm, start by putting a curve in the arm (depending on how big you want the muscles) looking at reference pictures is good to show you where to put more lines to enhance the effect of bluging muscles.

I love comments... ;]
☠ A little shading can always help with that ^_^~

thank you, does anyone have any good reference pictures?

Go to any stock photo site and search for body builders.
If in doubt, draw from life.

stock photo sites:

There's tons of others, but thats a good start. If you're serious about anatomy pick up a few artist's anatomy book. Those are wonderful.

you can try using one of those art dolls, you can buy them in craft stores and so on. They use circles to help you figure out where the bulges are. Oh and using pictures helps too

3nodding I like Deviantart as well for stock images. Most of those are free use as long as you are just doing them as studies. Go to www.deviantart.com->browse->resources->stock images.
