is their a difference toward the 2 because i'm lost on the difference since I tend to doodle a lot in my free time?

and can someone take a look at my work and tell where i need improvements? http://s275.photobucket.com/albums/jj296/wee12348/Public picts/

(ps: most of my actual work isnt there since they were made for others so i keep those in a private album)
A drawing/work of art is something that alot of time and effort is put into, and probably something you'd enjoy publicly displaying.

A doodle is something with very little time or effort that you just do for fun.

I just went over this in my drawing class actually. lol

oh ok thank you very much
Then again, there's famous artists who's doodles are seen as professional.

And I guess doodles are, like, the starting point for a piece of artwork.

I see doodles like brain farts. And i see art as something goes through a process.

In my mind, doodles are drawings without an intent or idea.
And then drawings are started with something definitely in mind.
