What do you guys think about that kind of art?

I like it sometimes, when it's not porn. 3nodding

PM me for cheap avi-art
There's a big difference between "Anthro" and what people consider "Furry"

Anthro is short of Anthropomorphic. Giving something that's not human (Or Human like. Say Ogre or Vampire), human characteristics. This could be a rose, a plate, an animal, a rock. Etc.
Hell Lumiere from Beauty and the Beast is Anthro. Hell, just about all of Beauty and the Beast's characters are Anthro.
Centaur's could be considered Anthro. That's a bit of an awkward one, though.

Sonic the Hedgehog is the most popular Anthro thing on the interwebs when it comes to art, it seems. While there is porn of it, yes.
But really, Rule 34.

"Furry" is typically associated with the porn and erotic side of Anthro. Typically, due to it's name, it's normally only done with animal Anthros.

Anthro =/= Furry. Anthro =/= Porn.

I like Anthro art when it's not in the typical "OMG SONIKKU" style. Sure, some of it in that style is nice, and I used to draw that style too, but I don't know. I think it's kind of old.
Don't get me wrong, that style can come out really well, but. Eh.

Thanks for the info, I didnt know in-animate objects turned into human like things is anthro...

Dog- "Why dont you CHECK me out!"
I think anthro is pretty interesting, but personally, I don't like furries.

I enjoy well-done anthro art... there's good and bad (just like there is in any style of art), and the good is actually enjoyable to look at.

And unlike most people, I'm not totally biased against the porn side of it. There's porn of everything, plain and simple, and I'm not going to pretend it doesn't exist. That doesn't mean I seek it out or necessarily enjoy looking at all of it, but I'm also not going to condemn an entire style because porn exists in it. (Otherwise, then the following styles also need to be condemned: Western comic, anime/manga/Japanese style, realism, photography, western animation, eastern animation, live action film, sculpture... and possibly more if I haven't missed any.)

As pointed out by Shadizilla, anthro does not necessarily equal furry. But a lot of us who draw anthropomorphic animals and have no desire to be linked to the "bad" side of the Furry Community take the "anthro" label and put it on our art. Me being one of those who do.

I like anthro art and well-done "tame" furry art. I draw it. I stay away from the porn half because I just don't enjoy that. But, Rule 34: If it exists, there's porn for/of it. They can have their porn; I just don't want it around me. And if you'll pardon me for a moment, I'd like to clarify what is and isn't porn (according to me).

I see a lot of people, when they see a "naked" fur or anthro animal, shriek "OMG Pr0n! It's nekkid! Put som cloths on it!! EWWW!!" or some variant. I have two words for you: Artistic nudity. Just because it's "nekkid" doesn't mean it's porn. And mind you, anthro animals/furs run under a different rule when nothing is showing; it's called the Wookiee Rule: If it has fur/feathers/scales and shows nothing, then it's not really naked.
Porn incorporates certain poses in addition to nudity. But honestly, if a "nude" anthro animal is just standing there with nothing showing, looking off into the distance, that's not porn. Honestly.

Pardon my rant there. I just get sick of the misconceptions.

I enjoy drawing anthro art, and seeing it when it's done well. I don't like Furrie or 'artistic nude' anthro's though.

I draw mainstream anthro quiet rarely, since adding tails and ears to people is a little boring of you ask me. But I love animals and most mythological creatures do qualify as anthro...

but then again furries and anthro aren't the same thing furries are basically sonic characters for an example and my type of anthro is like cat ears and a cat tail on a human...

No. Cat tails/ears on a human is not Anthro. It's just a human with Cat features. Anthro is Anthropomorphic -- giving non-human things human like characteristics. Anthro is Sonic, Furry is typically thought of more 'mature'.
