I am starting out as a photographer and am wondering if anyone else likes is and what you like to photograph and what equipment you have?

I'm not a photographer but i love taking pictures of the ordinary.
I just use a normal digital camera (Quite a good one but no too expensive) also Macro is probably one of the most beautiful settings you can have the camera on.

I like photograpy. I usually do animation with my photos. sometime i would like to try color splash, but i am not very expirenced... sweatdrop I use a 7.1 mega pixel olympus stylus 790 SW waterproof whee 3nodding

I shoot a vintage Canon AE-1 film camera.
In black and white I shoot T-Max 100 for clarity and if I'm looking for grain I shoot hp5.
In color I shoot bad walgreens film because I love how lo-fi it is.

wow that is really good i loved alot of the first page of your stuff and ya I dont like film too much because it cost alot more to do ...but ya awesome stuff

I find that photography is my only hobby I have as when it comes to illustration and other such arts I tend to do so for money. I guess I like photography that much that I do so without anything in return.

I find digital very hard to work with. I got a Lumix but I find that I only use it for snapshots and commerical photographs.

So for my art work I use a very old 35mm camera that my uncle had since the 70s. I find that with normal kodek ultramax film (the cheapest film I can get) it makes very soft sad photos. With B&W 400 film I get nice silvery sharp images but developing cost too much for that. (I miss the free supplies from back in high school where I could do it myself) and kodak gold film makes really bright colourful images.

I would love movdel work but I don't get the chance to do so because I don't know anyone so I mainly stick with studio work/still lifes. Also do a lot of whatever random things I can shoot.

ya I am starting with a few friends for model stuff and different things at a local park and things like that ...so its all good really but i know what you mean about things being too expensive ...i would love to do stuff like film but idk if i would be any good at it ..digital is easier that film to say the least and you can edit your photos easier too and get the good shots lol razz )
