Pick someone to assist you with the shoot then ask? I just had my first meeting with a model yesterday and it went pretty well. We're shooting tomorrow and I'm still not quite sure how I'm supposed to make a dress fit on her that's a few sizes too big. sweatdrop

I think some fashion shoots use large pegs to hold slightly larger clothing closer to the body of the model. They grab the material at the back of the dress so when you shoot from the front noone notices.
If the dress is quite flowing would a belt work?

Yeah, I've heard about people using clamps and such to make the clothes fit better. We had a few clips to pull the material back. It worked alright, but we really only had smaller-iiish clips to use which were by far not designed to hold thick material. A belt wouldn't have worked though since it was a wedding dress we were shooting.

I think it turned out pretty good. I haven't had a chance to look at them on a monitor yet, but from my LCD I'm happy with how it went. :]
