have you ever met someone like this who refuses to listen to people who are trying them? They just want to hear "it's good" "awesome work" ect...

I changed the post because it was wrong of me to link the artist.

Young/new artists tend to be defensive about their work. If your comment is anything other than "this is cool" or "wow that's really neat" they can go haywire. Just let it go, they'll learn over time.

some people just dont like being told their art isnt perfect. best to let it go and move on. i hate giving any sort of crit on da because half the time even if the person is ok with getting a crit their rabid fans will be pissed that you said something is wrong with their work

What can I say? It's deviantart.
e.e I'm in the mood to annoy, so I'll see how she reacts to being told the difference between kenomimi (people with animal ears/tails, which is basically her tutorial) and anthropomorphism.

edit: it'll probably be the same response as her others, but like I said, in the mood to annoy.

maybe you should have looked at how old that entry was. then look at her gallery to see that she is not new to art, and very well knows how to draw humans and animals.
I don't get why you would think that it was professional to link an artist with whom you are having a disagreement with, whether right or wrong. It makes the issue about your argument and not about whatever topic you are trying to discuss.

Maybe she didn't want to listen because that tutorial is from 2008, and it no longer matters, maybe she is a baby who is too sensitive. Either way, AD is not your personal army nor should it be a place to air your grievances with another artist.

People who don't listen to critique don't bother me a bit. Their improvement or lack thereof, is their own burden to bear. I am neither offended nor upset if they react badly to critique

it wasn't about her art. Nothing I said to her was about her art if you see the comment on da. It was about mistaking the title. I only showed her how to fix the problem so ppl don't spazzing out on her. Nothing to do with her art.
Somebody doesn't want to listen to criticism on DeviantArt? Big shock.

Then again that is from 2008 so she might not give a crap about that tutorial anymore.

no one is spazzing about it or even caring about it except you, so..
I would assume the artist was immature and give it a good faith effort to try to clear up any misunderstanding (like if they thought I was attacking them) but if they say to ******** off, I move on. You have to know when to let s**t go, when to decide that the conversation is no longer a beneficial one and resist the urge to get a final word in.

However, I would also see what the basis of their objection to me is. If a critic hasn't done their due diligence on seeing whether or not it is really appropriate to critique (say it's an old work or the person specifically asked not to receive critiques), the person has a right to call a critic on that. If you want to cut down on people flipping out on you, only give out critiques when asked for them or when a work is posted in a place meant specifically for critique.
