Personally, I've got what those of the hip hop persuasion call hunger. I've got this burning, Shonen Jump style passion to become a great tattoo artist. Seeing people not just enjoying my art, but wear it is just ******** amazing. My parents don't get that, but they don't have to. It's about me and what I can live with myself doing for the next forty or fifty years. It might not always be tattooing, but that'll be where my career will start.

I think that to be successful in a career in the art field you definitely need a passion for it. If you're stuck doing something you're indifferent about, you'll just be miserable.

Sometimes parents just don't understand us.....they enforce all these ridiculous rules that completely suck and they it's cuz they want what's best for us but what's best for us is to follow our hearts and do what we want.......if we wanna become an artist they should support us, not bring us down.....

I think it's ok to sell your Art, as long as you keep drawing because you love what your doing, some people who do it for the money, forget why they started drawing and then they're Art isn't very good anymore. If you want to be a Professor, I'd say go for it, but keep in mind, that you like Art for what is. & that will make you a really good Art Professor.

I wasn't interested in anything particulary when I was in High school. But I always drawing, it seems it was my real solid hobbies.... but as I said I've never thought of continuing in art career before, I entered university as a medical student stare

Time passed and I still continue my drawing as a hobby, University rob me all my time.. even though sometimes I envy those people who has a chance to study art.. but I've never thought that my decision was wrong, since I'm also happy with my study too.
