Passion for art?

If I had a money-making career that i hated, I'd only love the money and that would make me a sad person (not like "Oh my god, how sad of a person she is..." I mean me crying myself to sleep sad).

I've been passionate about art for years, but when high school started my passion kept increasing and became overwhelming and now I'm going to art school to pursue animation.

My dad thought he had to explain to me that I had to take foundation classes, something I've known since I took Art 1 four years ago. And seriously? Anyone who pursues art and goes "Ugh, why do we have to take foundation classes for *name of art field*?" its just like... "GTFO, you don't belong here."

I dunno, that turned out ramble-ish too. XD

For me art isn't just a hobby..It's well..a part of my life actually..But my parents disapprove about it. sweatdrop .but I'm still planning to enter an art school somewhere...I want to be a manga artist or a graphic designer....I'mnot giving up on something I'm good it just because people don't want me to.

When you get old enough, you don't have to listen to them though.
