I don't care, I'm still free...

Look at REAL hands.

Look at the shapes they're made of. The palm is a square, and the fingers are long rectangles coming off the top, and the thumb comes out the bottom left or right side.

Then you just have to round everything out...
You can't take the sky from me...
definitely draw realistic hands. If you are truly serious about your artistic improvement, you need to stop drawing anime. You can go back to it later once you've learned the basics, but until you have a firm grasp of anatomy (not to mention value/light, perspective, color theory, composition, etc.) you are not ready to stylize in any capacity.

here's a simple tutorial on drawing hands: here

That's just the basics but really that's better than being coached along each line because that way you don't learn as much (in my opinion).

Look at the bones in the hand. clicky. The position of the bones is very helpful in anatomy.

Good luck.
Whenever I have trouble drawing something, I imagine it INTENSELY in my mind, then only concentrate on the movements of my hand.

You know how sometimes your eyes go out of focus on what you're looking at? If you can purposely make your eyes un-focus... I know it sounds weird... but for some reason it helps me get in the "zone" for drawing exactly what I'm imagining.

You can also just do a triangle, then round the edges, then blend, then add a few lines. With anime, fingernails are optional. XD

Hope I helped! biggrin
