That's not a good reason for giving up. Tablets can be easily fixed or forgotten.

It's just I'm not used to it yet. Literally RIGHT after I got it my laptop crashed, so the screen I have to use it with is huge and at a horrible angle. I just really need a new laptop.

Sometimes updating the drivers, or even reinstalling an update you already have once before can fix stability issues. You can usually find them by googling a simple term like "(tablet-type) driver". If you're not sure which one you need, you can also try contacting the company and ask them which one to install.
