Welcome to Gaia! ::

Mostly with hands I suppose, although tips for getting a face would be nice, when I draw a full body I normally mess up with trying to squeeze the face in (if I'm not painting it in).
Yes. It's a reference from some belly dancer, but as I'm not so wonderful with drawing poses from the mind yet (working on it!) that's how it's going to be for some time, at least for the basic gesture.
Anyway, suggestions/tips/redlines/crits?
Working on some language homework now, but I'll be back and update as I progress. Hoping for some good help here!

Yes it's my avi.
Either her hands are on backwards or she's missing her thumbs. Hold your hands in that position and look in a mirror.

She's holding her scarf thingy.
Hey, if you're struggling then don't feel obliged to figure out the hands on your own. Do you have a camera with a self timer? It would help immensely if you could pose yourself. One glaring issue I see is that the feet are too small. But yeah, try to get a pic to help you with them hands (and arms, 'cause they look a little out of perspective.) Good luck! biggrin

What? Of course not. Observing is the most efficient way to learn.

Very poetic I have one to

Really,don't, give, a, s**t
Right, after that immature, random occurrence, I forgot to add earlier that the rest of the anatomy (such as the torso) is pretty good. Interested to see how this develops!
Thanks.
Also, about the feet (although I suck at feet too, obviously, since it's not obvious) She's twirling around, so, one foot is further back and the other en pointe.
But I'll try to fix it to add more movement/etc
Progress
I'm thinking the left arm is too dark.
I'm also thinking a little less shine on the mid-piece and a bit more brightness.
Also I totally forgot about earrings. It's doubtful they'll make it in at this point.
