Welcome to Gaia! ::

I was drawing myself chibi style riding a shoppingkart... Why? Uhhhh donr rly know... However people keep insisting in asking why, and Im like : Why the hell you do care, you hardly talk to me and know youre asking me questions... SCREW YOU!!!

However more annoying is when the teacher from class takes my drawing and tryies to figure out what it is. After failing miserably he dares to ask the class what tyhey think of it... and im not kidding, this rly happened to me in high school...

I HATE TEACHERS, OMG, I remember, in 6th grade, I had a teacher named Mrs. Dolack. UGH, she's OKAY sometimes but still everyone hates her guts xD And I was working very hard on a drawing, and she took it, and crumpled it up, and threw it in the recycle, no joke. After class I gave her a dirty look and grabbed it out of the recycling and walked away uncrumpling it.

BWAHAHAHAH BEAT THAT BISH! x] And yet I still have her, for science. But she's better now..I suppose >.>
Oh... I am sorry you had to go through that. sad

I rarely ever get those comments... but when I do I don't dislike it either. It simply means I'm not drawing something clear enough.

I was a little hurt when I was younger, when my drawing of a dog was mistaken to be a drawing of a cockroach. whee You know, nobody asked what it was. They ALL just assumed it was a cockroach. I laugh at that now, but uhh... when you are a child, your drawing of a dog being mistaken for a cockroach can be devastating. gonk I didn't draw until I graduated from high school.
Annoys me if it's already too obvious...

AND THEY GO LIKE "WHOA HOW CAN JOO DRAW WITHOUT TRACING ANYTHING?!?!?"
I don't usually get the "what's that?" question. I get the "Who is that?" question, tough /= And I usually don't feel like telling every Tom, d**k and Harry about my characters, so this is the standard procedure when I'm not in the mood to talk:

"Oh, cool. Who is that?"

Me: "... His name is Bob. He's a fancy hobo. Now gtf away from me. e_e;;"

"Oh. Why is his hair like that? And why does he wear an eyepatch? How come he doesn't wear a shirt? Isn't he cold? Why does he have a sword? Swords are lame. Give him a gun instead, that's a lot cooler. -goes on-"

Me: "..." -ignores the person-

Of course, I like that people are interested in what I do, but yeah, questions like that can be a bit annoying sometimes. ^^;;;
I really have to agree, it's quite annoying when people ask, "Who's that? What the hell is she doing? Did you trace that?" -.-...seriously, half the time I just smile politely and say, "No, I drew it. That's because I've been drawing since I was about eight years old. Now shoo, I'm busy." Plus I make a ton of unknown gals, I usually do it to practice outfits.

Though since I've been getting the same shitty questions for five years now, I'm up to the point of punching them right in the face. Really, intelligence lacks where I live.
"The Reflection of Your Soul" is always a fun response. Just try it and see what happens, you won't be bored.

I...I'm so using that. *_*
OMG this makes me sooooo mad...It's my #1 thing I hate most..

Most of the time I try to be polite. I try to explain to them what I'm drawing... But no matter HOW simple I make it, they still don't get it! It's like non-anime/manga/art people are retarded or something... XD

Person: What are you drawing? *looks completely confused*
Me: Just some cat.. 3nodding
Person: So..what is it?
Me: A cat...
Person: Why did you draw a cat? Did you even draw it?
Me: Yes, I drew it. I don't really know why...
Person: What's it for?
Me: I don't know.. sweatdrop
Person: Is it a cat?
Me: Yes gonk

The conversation usually goes on and makes me extremely angry in the end... These people also manage to make me feel stupid that I draw at all in the first place!

A lot of times I lie to them about what I'm drawing to avoid more conversation. If I'm drawing some guy that looks like a girl in any way, I'll tell them it's a girl so I don't get the typical "NO! That's a GIRL!" response..

Or if I'm making avi art, I'll try to explain that it's a drawing for a website. They get all wierd and sarcastic like "Give me the link to the site (laughs)!" Know what I mean? XP God, it's so annoying...

On the positive side, I am fine with it if someone simply asks what it is, they get it when I explain, and they tell me they like it. heart
One thing that got me today:
I had a peice of art I just got back from an exhibition over the weekend. Had to carry the big-a** thing around the whole day and in my history class some girls were looking at it and one just goes nuts and says "How can you DO that?!" How the hell am I supposed to answer that?
I used to, long time ago.

Now, I could care less of what other's comments are about my art. I create to create, to express. Simple as that.

Though when the comment of "What is that?" Comes along I can't help but think, "Such ignorance." Art is different for each person. One might see something that the others cannot. Someone my achieve something much higher then another from one particular piece. So "What's that?"

"It is whatever you want it to be."

.________. "Because I have a lot more brain then you and choose to use them."

Like last year I had an art teacher who would look at my art and make a verbal expression of the basic emotion of the picture. If it was cute, she would say "aww", which I didn't mind.

If it was sad (and usually dead serious), she would c**k her head, scrunch her eyebrows and say, "Ohhhh..." in a very sympathetic fashion, like I drew a kid trying the puppy-eyed look. That was what bothered me. I found it very embarrassing.

If I drew a hot Polish guy or some other erotic picture, she would say "Oooh!" in much the same fashion you would if you spotted the clear body shape of a hot guy (or girl) walking down the street. That was also embarrassing. But she would be offended if I told her that the guy was Polish, like I'm making them out to be sluts or something.
Ok, this isn't my own story but my friends. She was drawing in math class and I saw this really annoying kid come up to her and he said that the girl she was drawing was really hot. I almost died right there because I knew that she was drawing a guy and she told him that too. He had no clue what to say. It was the funniest thing I've ever seen. lol, so yeah. smile
^^ I think I love you guyz now.. finally someone who understands me!! surprised
