I draw at school alot and, they always ask, "What's that?" When it's completely obvious.

State here, what they said, what you said, what happened, what you were drawing at the time, ect.

Do you hate that or not?

Ugh.

You know, I stopped drawing in public a loooong time ago. rofl

...I was into Kuroshitsuji before it was cool...
Yes, I really hate it. I mean, if it looks like a guy in a miniskirt, it's probably a guy in a miniskirt.

What I hate even more is when I show someone I don't know some artwork, and they say something along the lines of, "Woah! That's so cool! You TRACED that?" WHAT!!?? That's an insult to me as an artist! This is my own original artwork! I made it myself!

It also bothers me when I draw something, and they completely misinterpret the lines. Once I drew a little chibi doodle. He had a large clear face with a clean chin, and I had somebody completely misinterpret the hair tuft BEHIND his ear to be his beard. What? It didn't even look like a beard, and it was on the wrong side of the head to boot. The doodle itself was a much older version of these chibis.

When people ask me that I usually say something like "Read 'BLAME' and you will know", because they only ask me "What's that?" when I'm in the middle of drawing a very sexy Safeguard.

After the entire TBC and 70% of WotLK... my Hyppo made its first steps.

I also hate when people think you traced it, just because THEY do doesn't mean YOU do.

I generally don't like showing people my art work just because that response is way too common. Constructive criticism is great but when they start asking "whats that? is that a bandage? Is he emo? Are you depressed or something?" Im just like back off. People are annoying.

I know. It's an insult to artists who actually bother to draw their own original artwork.

I mean, you're assuming that the artist just copied her art from some other source instead of drawing it herself. You're assuming that the idea didn't come from her own brain. You're assuming she just drew lines that weren't hers.

It's just... insulting to the minds of creative people.

I was drawing Sweeney Todd in class, and the person beside me asked "What's that?". I told them, and they said, "Oh, I thought it was a tree."
Er. How do you mistake a person for a tree? (It was like it was only the hair or anything, I was working on the shoes, which is what I do last.)

Because they are retarded. That is the only explanation I have been able to find.

Project 154 is 10676 words long. Yell if it's not progressing.http://i37.tinypic.com/29maekz.jpg
Because I am hard, you will not like me, but the more you hate me, the more you will learn. I am hard, but I am fair.

Lol they're retarded :3 Ya got that right!

I personally hate when you're just starting the initial figure sketch and people ask, "why is she bald?" or "Why is she naked?"

I'M GETTING TO THAT. WAIT 'TIL ITS FINISHED KTHX.

But yes. I hate it when I'm drawing some funky futuristic/fantasy outfit with some fun ornaments and people go "what's that orby/pointy/shiny thing coming out of her hair/belt/boot/bracelet/etc." I don't know. I thought it looked cool. Do I need a reason for everything?

I don't usually get asked that but what I find irritating beyond compare it people standing over your shoulder watching you draw.

That drives me crazy.

I was drawing myself chibi style riding a shoppingkart... Why? Uhhhh donr rly know... However people keep insisting in asking why, and Im like : Why the hell you do care, you hardly talk to me and know youre asking me questions... SCREW YOU!!!

However more annoying is when the teacher from class takes my drawing and tryies to figure out what it is. After failing miserably he dares to ask the class what tyhey think of it... and im not kidding, this rly happened to me in high school...

Usually my art is more abstract. I'm not very good at pretty much anything else. I draw in class once in a while, but I only have 2 classes at school.
