Welcome to Gaia! ::

Hello fellow artist !!
So I've had this really annoying issue that involves digital painting (on photoshop) and blur. Whenever i attempt to mix colors, or pretty much paint in general, my pieces always come out blurry.

Here's one of my older pieces to show an example

I've progressed a bit over time with this piece

What would be some tips to kind eliminate the blurriness of my pieces?
make sure your brush is not soft (hardness is a 100%), and check some tutorials to help you get started on the basics, ctrlpaint is really nice for that. A better understanding of shapes, lightinh, contrast and colours will help you in general as well as help you create sharper shapes.

Yeah, I think its maybe your brush : O one nice brush is the round hard pressure brush (I think it it's called) and then just adding the uh.. crap.

it's the hard round brush and then in the brush settings, check the shape dynamics (& spacing (9%) sa shape dynamics), transfer, & smoothing. and then play around with the opacity and flow.

I nice tool is the eye dropper tool (short cut: alt) which helps a lot when it comes to blending C:
