Coloring Pencils...help?

Ok, so in the art class I took WAY back in 2005, I learned how to use color pencils, pastels, etc and how to blend and shade with them and while using multiple colors. My other classes never reviewed all that, and I forgot how to do it :/. Does anyone know of a good site, book, video, or whatever, that I could find tips and tricks for this? I am REALLY trying to get back into the art thing, but :/ yeah. sweatdrop

i just learned how to blend by playing with them.

i use prisma color pencils. they blend very well.
they also have clear prisma color pencils that are specifically made for blending.

The key to blending is over lay. You make multiple layers. Don't press too hard until the very last lawyer to burnish.

Build them up with light layers. You can find some good tutorials on YouTube.

I bought some cheap ones to play with before I buy those. I just wanna see different techniques so I can come up with my own.

Prismacolors are the best kinds of colored pencils to use. We use them all the time in my school's art classes.
