Learn to draw realism first.

Huh? question

Learning to draw realism will help you with whatever your drawing. Its better to learn it first, before you try to go hardcore on anime/manga/whatever.

What is realism?

Realism is basically anything you see in real life. The way your face looks, in real life, for example, is realism. Anime and cartoons, for example, are is not realism, but a stylized version of it. Thuss, if you study realism, you will understand how better draw in the style of anime and/or cartoon, since they are a form of realism.

I'm noticing in your drawings that the hair is just a big blob. Remember, individual strands make up your hair. Study the ways hair falls in different positions. Also, people hair will fall differently depending on their hair, so, if your thinking up a character, before drawing the hair, think about whether it will be wispy, curly, straight, thick, or thin.

Well you don't have to be a jerk about it! evil You don't how hard it is for me!

I'm not trying to be a jerk, and I'm sorry if you think I am, I'm only telling you the truth. ALL artist have to work hard. I used to think, and still do think, that drawing is hard, but just don't think that there's an easy way out of it.

Art is about what you tell your self you can and can't do, if you keep saying you suck, you will start to believe it, and it won't help.
I used to do that too, and my art never got any better, now I try to except it. It has gotten better.

Systematic, sympathetic
Quite pathetic, apologetic, paramedic
Your heart is prosthetic.
