You need a seller's permit. biggrin

Question: Where does one get one's stickers printed? D: All the places I found only do 200+. ><;

Avery also makes sheets which can be fed into an inkjet printer. Of course, you'll have to cut it out yourself, but I've seen others do it and the customers don't seem to mind it very much smile

(Compusa has them about 7-9 dollars for 15 sheets.)

jungleguu is correct. You can just get inkjet-friendly sticker paper at any office supply store, computer store, or even Target. Cutting them out yourself is definitely rather tedious, but it's something you could do while, say, watching TV or something, so that way it doesn't seem so bad.

On top of which it is cheaper for you , particularly if you are trying something for the first time and don't know if people will like your designs. While there are some sites listed in this thread that do stickers, keep in mind that they're raking in a lot of profit off you.

(If you're really ambitious, then you can score the paper with a good exacto. However, I think it's possible that unless you have really good hands you'll rip a few along the way, so cutting them out seems better.)

There are also sticker making machines that can sometimes be found at craft stores. These affix something on the back of whatever you run through it. I think the start up cost though is not going to be for the firsttimer.
A quick search for ones similar to the type my sister has brings them up at $50 and $100 for two different levels of machines, which isn't HORRIBLE (considering what I know people spend on button makers), but a bit steep nonetheless. smile

(Though, if I catch that $100 one on sale, it looks kind of awesome...)

That's the big thing there--it's a lot more cost efficient than getting someone else to do it; if they don't sell, you'll have lost a lot of money. neutral

Scoring paper with an Exacto is a really sweet method, but it does take a bit of practise to get right, not to mention that it may take a little more time than simply cutting them with scissors. I often do those for just my smaller stickers.

As far as machines go, vicemage pretty much has that section covered nicely. 3nodding But I will second that it's definitely something to invest in only when you have enough in your budget for it.
Hmmmm, okay. Thanks for the feedback guys! biggrin

Hee exacto knives are fun to mess around with. .... That probably made me sound emo, huh. >>;

So getting paper yourself is better. Thanks guys! Time to hunt down them sticker paper
I've never heard of someone hand-scoring stickers with an exacto-knife... sounds kind of time-consuming. Interesting, though. 3nodding
It sounds very time-consuming. ^^ I'm trying to decide on a freebie to start offering with sets of my books, and waffling on my idea of magnetic "paper dolls" because of the time it'll take me to cut apart the pieces...

On that note, anyone have any suggestions on something easy, cheap but neat to put with a special purchase of four comics? So far the "paper dolls" idea is still winnning...
