How thin is thin? The pipes I got are 3/4" and they seemed pretty sturdy when I put it together so I'm hoping I made the right choice.

Oh! They added sets! biggrin

They were the first site I thought of when the sticker sheets were mentioned, but the last time I poked their site, they only offered the single sticker pages, so I just kind of didn't really think about them again... now that there's sets, I might get in on this action. biggrin

Edit: They added sets and grey-area/fair use/parody rules... now my mind is ticking on this...

I'm definitely planning stuff for Anime Weekend Atlanta. The sticker sheets are much more economical than the single sticker pages--at least for me. Now I just need to dig up the cash for the initial investment.

That's where I'm stalled, too. biggrin Undoubtedly, I'm not going to do every option I have available, I'll just pick a couple of my favorites (that fall sufficiently into fair use/parody/sufficient change) and set aside some cash until I can pony up for it...

I've gotta remember that I have books to pay for, too, that'll probably be going over $100 this time, so I can't forget to save money for that, too. And books trump stickers. biggrin

The stickers I want to do are going to be some of my original concept stuff. I'm trying to move away from fanart. One of these days, I'd love to have some books on my table, but I'm really slow... maybe in a few years.

I stay more or less clear of it myself, and will be focusing on original work for the stickers, but at the same time I have a couple of sets of fanart chibis I'm fairly partial to, that would be fun to print up. ^_^
I'm living with false hope

And my eyes just want to see a ray of light

I'm gonna find it in my fairy tale...

I don't know if I'm good enough for AA...

I put pieces up in the Art Show at a con... the min. bids were $1-$2 and the quicksale was $7. No one bid. At all. I spoke to a couple people in the artist alley, and they said that not only was this particular con slow, but it's a lot easier to sell from a table than from the art show as well... but I still don't know. I think my art lacks emotion... I don't feel anything when I'm drawing (except the same frustration I feel when I'm doing anything else). I don't know...

you have more page views on your deviantart page than I do... does that make you feel better? ^ ^;;; Maybe if your drawings aren't selling well you could try crafts?

Your art could definitely use improvement, but I'd say you're good enough to get some sales at the Artist's Alley. Remember, you've got this entire thread to help you out with preparing your art. smile If you're not sure about a piece, ask us for assistance.
Just curious but how many from this thread (assuming there are any other than myself) that will be attending Anime Mid Atlantic this upcoming weekend?

Could I take you up on that offer? XD
Has anyone here done their prints with ArtsCow? How was the quality? They've got a free 1200 prints offer currently.

I finished my set of 8 chibi bookmarks. Comic pages are coming along, but I need to get cranking on my set of prints. Shooting for the end of this month...
Once it's all ready I'll ask for advice on pricing and quantities.

Well, my friend and I ordered some ArtsCow prints last week, so in another week or two, I'll let you know how my 4x6s and 5x7s turn out.

Their quality is actually surprisingly nice. I like them better than, say, Snapfish. I get most of my prints from them because their 8x10s are the cheapest around, even including the high shipping.

I got a ton of stuff from ArtsCow... the quality was good, but I'm not sure if I can sell them at Otakon because they say "Fuji" on the back... I think there's a rule against those papers.
