I remembered my other question! Ha!

I sell roses made out of duct-tape. I think they're pretty neat. I've got some red/green ones (red petals, green stem), silver/green, silver/silver, and blue/green.
Do you guys think I should stick with this small number of colors, or should I branch out, and make tons of different roses in different colors?

Thanks for the input on my other questions, too.
I love this thread. crying

I'd try a few other colors, see how well they sell, then act accordingly from then on.

Page 100 woot!
I'm in a hotel right now with my table partner, tomorrow is the big day. biggrin Wish me luck everyone!

Also: Whoo! 100 pages! I think this is the longest thread in the Art Discussion, now.
Good luck!

Bumps for usefulness. *stalks thread but hardly posts* sweatdrop

What con was it? And how many people were there?

Cheaper site for bookmark tassels.

I started looking for one because shipping on the one mentioned earlier made the price about twice what it was. With shipping that site was like $16 for 50 tassels, this one's like $22 for 100.
-sigh- Three days of Fanime, and I've sold one print. >: I've had fun so far, though. And a lot of my business cards went out.

eek!

Well, if it's your first time... I guess it's good experience... and at least people got your business cards... but still... sorry. meh.

*gets really nervous now*

My first con I sold rather decently. If i hadn't brought along three friends who's first convention it was, I would've broke even. XD

I'm hoping to sell better next year, or at least get the rating for my now-active webcomic up.
In reference to Starre's post, how necessary are bookmark tassels? I know they definitely add some class to the item, but would they actually affect sales too much? Granted, if I had oodles of money, I'd buy them, but I'm not sure I wanna even dish out $20 for something that I can do without. Don't get me wrong...I really, REALLY like them, though.

You don't actually have to get 100, I just got that much because of the price break...

They're probably not necessary at all. They're kind of bad, actually, for bookmarks that you're giving away... but these are for stuff I'm selling.

They just look pretty.
Yeah, we're selling bookmarks as well. I was thinking about maybe selling them for $1 each. It sounds like a nice, cheap, even price. I just don't know what kind of image variety they should have... and now I'm debating the pros and cons of tassels! XD
Apparently, people have heard about Otakon tables already...

*freaks out*

Okay, if I don't get one, I'm going to cosplay. I already have the fabric and stuff, all I'll need is the time, which I'll have if I don't get a table.

But I want a table so badly!

*crosses fingers*
